Mexico is attempting to blackmail the United States, and it is the American government's fault.

After more than 300,000 detected border crossings in December, Biden administration has been putting pressure on Mexico to intervene and stem the flow of migrants toward the US souther border.

And the Mexican government returned with a list of demands:

1. $20 billion in new development aid to Latin American and Caribbean countries

2. An end to the US blockade of Cuba

3. The lifting of sanctions against Venezeula

And 4. the legalization of 10 million more Hispanics already in the United States

There are a few interesting was to interpret this.

The first is that it is the United States job to defend its own sovereignty, but the Biden administration is clearly interested in speeding up the Great Replacement more than anything.

The second crucial aspect to this is that were the American state a self-confident and nationalist nation it would respond to Mexican blackmail with its own raft of policies such as block remittances, suspending the Mexican ability to purchase property in the United States and ceasing all forms of technology sharing.

Steps that would do significant damage to an uncooperative Mexico.

You can read more about the tools the US has at its disposal to force cooperation on the immigration front, but which the American elite choose not to utilize, here on our Substack.

If the Global War on Terror failed to make the US or the Middle East a better place, why continue to repeat the mistakes of the past?

Friends help each other out. Yet despite widespread claims that Israel is Americaโ€™s โ€œgreatest friend and allyโ€ only 23.1% of respondents could think of a concrete example of Israel helping America.

The overwhelming majority of white voters are opposed to direct intervention in the Gaza crisis with boots on the ground or airstrikes. Even more Republicans were opposed to direct military intervention than in favor of it.

Escalation goes against the will of the people.

More respondents in a recent poll think that foreign intervention is a net negative for Americans and even for foreign nations than those who think that it is a net positive.

Why then does a supposedly democratic and representative government continuously embroil America in foreign affairs?

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ—บ| TRUCKER CONVOYS HEADING TO BORDER: Here are three of the planned routes of the "Take Our Border Back" convoys, according to the organizers' website as of 1/23/2024.

1) Virginia Beach, VA to Eagle Pass, TX
2) San Ysidro, CA to Yuma, AZ
3) Dripping Springs, TX to Yuma, AZ*

* Editor's Note: I question the logic of sending Texans 1,107 mi to Yuma instead of supporting Abbott in Eagle Pass, only 215 mi)

๐Ÿ”ถ๏ธ "The threat we call out today is new and unfamiliar. In its modern history the U.S. has never suffered an invasion of the homeland and, yet, one is unfolding now. Military aged men from across the globe, many from countries or regions not friendly to the United States, are landing in waves on our soil by the thousands- not by splashing ashore from a ship or parachuting from a plane but rather by foot across a border that has been accurately advertised around the world as largely unprotected with ready access granted."
