We often tend to use expressions such as red hot and cool blue. If you trust Physics, red is way cooler than blue. 😂

Which is the correct answer and why? via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CVim6-TMRb8/
Two new videos are being made to explain vector product and curl intuitively. They will explain why we use the determinant formulation and why the determinant expansion is made the way it is. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CWBbkkxtP3i/

Derivation of the Thin Lens Equation by ThePhysicist
This lecture provides a systematic way to derive the Thin Lens Equation. For the approximated thin lens formula, you need to find the approximated formula for refraction at a single spherical interface. That's the hardest part. Once you have the formula for the single spherical interface, you can easily apply that formula twice for the thin lens, once for each of the two spherical interfaces of the lens. Fluorescence and Phosphorescence Explained in Easy Terms at High School Physics Level by ThePhysicist
Timestamps... Introduction: 00:21 Experiment: 01:45 Atomic Structure: 03:45 Fluorescence: 28:35 Phosphorescence: 36:52 Spectroscopy: 38:35 In this lecture, we shall understand in simple terms, how fluorescence and phosphorescence work. A video clip of an experiment is shown in the beginning to aid your understanding. Addendum: The actual reason for labelling the subshells as s, p, d, and f is based on the early days of such spectroscopic observations of these subshells. Each of these subshells generates a group of lines that has a visual impression typical to the subshell (s: sharp, p: principal, d: diffuse, and f: fundamental).
