FAQ (Apple / @ThisCounted Campaign):
1. Where do the bonus Apple Store Gift Card/ Cash (up to $60, minimum $30) come from?
Companies often partner with various channels (like ours) or influencers to help increase outreach! Often, these partners would be allowed to make a commission when people buy through their affiliate links.
@ThisCounted has chosen to use much of our commissions to give back rewards to our subscribers (instead of just keeping the commission)! Thus, after you make your purchase, ThisCounted will be sending you the gift cards/cash within a few weeks once purchases are verified.
2. Is the link safe?
Yes! You’d notice that the link, bit.ly/ThisCounted , redirects to Apple’s official website. We are not asking you to place orders on an external platform—it’s still the official Apple website using the official Apple affiliate link. The only difference with our link is that there is an affiliate identifier so Apple/partnering platforms are aware which purchases were through ThisCounted’s campaign.
3. If the link simply goes to the Apple website, how do you know that I have used ThisCounted’s link specifically, to get my bonus rewards?
Indeed, the url takes you to the official Apple website. However, it is an official affiliate link where there is a tracking code. Affiliate links take the following structure:
https://www.apple.com/sg-edu/store?afid=[unique affiliate code here]
This is enough for a report to be produced that notes which purchases were through the link.
4. Does this also apply to JC/Poly/ITE?
You are also able to conduct student verification if you're from these institutions.
5. Can monthly installment plans be used?
Installment plans (“Buy Now, Pay Later”) are ineligible.
6. Is there anything else that may affect tracking?
Ensure you follow the steps (including re-entering our unique link again after the UNiDAYS student verification).
If you make a refund, rewards from ThisCounted will not be claimable. Switching products after ordering with our link may also prevent successful tracking. If you have any browser extensions that operate on an affiliate commission/cashback basis, these should be turned off, and any browser settings preventing tracking should also be adjusted.
7. As a final note, ensure that you use our unique link to purchase within the same session, in the same tab; if there is a time lapse, you will have to re-enter the bit.ly/ThisCounted link again.
Feel free to shoot us an email at ThisCountedBiz@gmail.com or message @ThisCountedSupportBot if you have any questions! 🙌🏻
