नाजिम और कन्हैयालाल के बीच पारिवारिक संबंध थे। ये वहीं नाजिम था जिसके पिता की मौत पर कन्हैयाला अंतिम यात्रा में शामिल था। नाजिम की बहन की शादी में भी कन्हैयालाल शामिल हुआ था।
नाजिम (32) के पिता अहमद भी टेलर थे। कन्हैयालाल की दुकान के सामने ही उनकी दुकान थी और दोनों अच्छे पड़ोसी भी थे। लेकिन, एक विवादित पोस्ट के बाद नाजिम ने ही थाने में ही 15 जून को धानमंडी थाने में रिपोर्ट दी थी। कन्हैयालाल की ओर से दी एक शिकायत में भी नाजिम का जिक्र है। आरोप था कि नाजिम ने कन्हैयालाल की फोटो शेयर कर लिखा था कि- इसे कहीं पर भी देखें तो जान से मार दें। - Source
