Hi all, here's an update about what's been happening with the $UTU on BSC -> Ethereum direction of the bridge:

The TLDR is:
-We found an issue with our BSC contract that is the cause of why that direction of the bridge hasn't been working
-We are fixing the issue by creating a proxy contract that will be the minter/burner
-Your funds are safe and you don't have to do anything
-The BSC -> Ethereum direction of the bridge will be live soon.

For those who have used or plan to use Meter Passport to bridge $UTU between Ethereum and BSC, Meter has provided more details about their bridge fee subsidy program.

We've updated our blog post with the pertinent details, which you can read about here:

TLDR:
1) You'll receive a 30% reimbursement on the first 3 bridge transfers, paid in a combo of of MTR (Meter’s metastable gas token) and MTRG (Meter’s governance token).
2) Reimbursements will begin today, will be retroactive to the launch date of Meter Passport, and will be paid out daily.
3) To qualify for the reimbursement, the “from” and “to” addresses on the source and destination addresses have to be the same (the default option for Meter Passport).
