While farmed fish on the other-hand are raised in pens that are submerged in lakes, ponds, and salt water.
These fish are usually confined to a small space and fed all sorts of fish scraps and garbage that they would not eat naturally in the wild.
Just to put things into perspective, for example a salmon farm can hold up to one million salmon in a fairly small space which is why diseases develop and have to be treated with antibiotics.
