Our cute niece Emma got married today!
These two little cousins looked so cute in their matching outfits. The wedding color was purple. 💜
Mike Lee said, "There’s no good reason for any state to refuse to share its voter-registration files with @AAGDhillon to make sure noncitizens and dead people aren’t registered to vote."

Mike Lee is spot on. The LG said she can't share our voter rolls with the DOJ because of privacy concerns. Below is the Utah code that explicitly gives her the legal right to share our voter rolls. Why would she refuse to share them?

Utah Code § 20A-2-502(2)(a) (as of the latest available version, effective 5/7/2025):(2)(a) Subject to Subsection (2)(b), the lieutenant governor may cooperate or enter into an agreement with a governmental entity or another state to share information and increase the accuracy of the database.
We MUST be a nation of laws if we are to have freedom. Illegal immigration has increased the cost of housing, healthcare, education and increased our taxes.

The Executive Office for Immigration Review said on May 21 that it had sworn in 77 immigration judges and five temporary immigration judges during an investiture ceremony held the previous day in the DOJ’s Great Hall in Washington.

“The Trump administration is committed to reestablishing an immigration judge corps that is dedicated to restoring the rule to the law in our nation’s immigration system,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche in a statement.

Today has been a pretty good day. I was able to connect with several of my texting chairs from my organization. There are so many wonderful people involved. My husband and I planted some flowers this evening. I will have a new talking point next week about the data center and some of our concerns that can be shared with our legislators. This meme from Babylon Bee made me chuckle.
Maybe Box Elder County could do a referendum?

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! We went to a wonderful program at the Veteran's Park in Bountiful. They did a 21 gun salute.
Mike's dad's name is on the wall because he served in the Air Force.
They had a huge flag displayed!
This wreath was so beautiful.
They took this picture of all the veterans. We are so grateful for their service. We also think of those not in the picture because they didn't make it home. We can't repay them, but we can do our part for America today.
I love this from the Tenth Amendment Center:

In Federalist #46, Madison laid out a series of steps to combat “unwarrantable measures of the federal government” along with those that are “warrantable” but “unpopular.”

In other words, we can use his blueprint to combat unconstitutional acts, as well as constitutional ones that are considered bad policy.

A lot of people seem to think that the federal government is too big and powerful to stop, but Madison didn’t think so at all. He insisted, “The means of opposition to it are powerful and at hand.”

Madison said it starts with “the disquietude of the people.” In other words, when the federal government overreaches its authority, Madison expected the people to throw a fit. In fact, he said they would demonstrate “repugnance” at the situation.

We tend to think of repugnance as an emotional reaction, but the word was defined more broadly in Madison’s day. The most used dictionary of the time defined repugnance as “disobedient; not obsequious (compliant).”

I will be sharing details about the data center that explain why this issue is so important.
Terry Hutchinson would be excellent on the Utah State School Board for district 11!

https://www.hutchforschool.org/ received 63.8 % of the delegate vote (exceeding the threshold of 60%) and Tracy Nuttall received 36.2% of the vote at the GOP convention.
The following is from Mike Lee. We all need to pray for help with election integrity and voter ID. We cannot continue to have fraud in our elections.

"Maryland just had 500,000 fake mail-in ballots exposed. Not five hundred. Not five thousand. FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND. That is a whole city's worth of crooked ballots in one blue state.

The President is demanding action. The American people are demanding action. And what are Senate Democrats doing?

They are hiding behind the zombie filibuster.

That is what I call it. The filibuster used to mean something. A senator had to stand on the Senate floor, hold the microphone, and make his case out loud. Today? Schumer's team can just send a one-line email and kill any bill they don't like — without ever showing their face on camera.

It is cowardly. It is dishonest. And it is killing this country.

That is why the President is right to demand we put the SAVE America Act inside the Housing and FISA bills. Those bills have to pass. If Democrats want to shut down housing and surveillance authority over election integrity, let them try to explain that to the American people in broad daylight."
We had a lot of fun at Lagoon last night. The boys went on the new ride The Nutcracker. They had to wait for about 40 minutes to get on. They loved it. There is no way I would go on it. I love the huge nutcracker they have in front of it.
This beautiful peacock was in Pioneer Village. They are so incredible.
