In Utah code 63H-1-104 it talks about MIDA’s own board (and its dedicated Loan Approval Committee, made up of certain board members) can green-light projects within its project areas and approve infrastructure loans from the military development infrastructure revolving loan fund to fund those same projects—including loans where MIDA itself is the borrower.

In a nutshell they can approve of their own projects and then approve their own financing by tax dollars. This is not proper oversight of public money.
Here is the recording from the Zoom call last night! I had an attorney on that is helping with a case that is suing MIDA.

This is why government isn't supposed to be in the welfare business. Government is a breeding ground for corruption because the money belongs to tax payers and not an individual or private business. The private sector would never function with this kind of corruption. If people want to help others they need to work with churches and other private organizations that assist the poor and needy.

The Fifth Circuit has held that federal law prevents states from providing in-state tuition benefits to illegal immigrants in United States v. Texas (July 9, 2026) unless all U.S. citizens receive the same benefit. This is happening in Utah in statute 53H-11-203. This needs to be corrected.

The senate cannot leave Washington until they secure our elections. The movement to stay is growing!
There are major consequences for our country having so much debt. Inflation is driving down the value of our money because the feds keep printing more.
No thank you Gov Cox. The negative impact of illegal immigration on Utah is squeezing the citizens to death as the cost of everything has increased including rent and the cost of homes. The roads are less safe and the quality of education in the public schools has decreased. Please stand for Utah citizens.
I just called Senator Curtis again and reminded him that we don't want him coming home to Utah without securing our elections. Please call him and Sen Thune:

We have got to start putting our Utah citizens first. We must stand together against illegal immigration and visa fraud.

Thomas Heyward Jr. was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. He joined the South Carolina militia in 1779 and was a captain of artillery. The British looted Heyward's large estate. When the city Charleston finally surrendered on May 12th, 1780 Heyward and his fellow signer of the Declaration of Independence, Edward Rutledge, were rounded up with many others and sent to prison in St. Augustine, Florida. Think of his sacrifice for America.
I am so proud to call Mike Lee my senator. He is doing everything he can to secure our elections. Nothing else matters if this doesn't happen. We do not currently have secure elections. Will the American experiment continue?
I can't stop thinking about the Save America Act and how imperative it is that it is passed. The senate cannot have recess unless this is done. We will all look back at this moment in history and know the country took a direction that will impact everyone in every country. Will America continue? Will We the People have the power through elections? I sincerely ask everyone to pray for this country and for miracles.
How is this moment in history any less perilous than the night Washington's army was trapped on Long Island? We cannot maintain America without our own miracle. Will self government continue? I ask every God fearing citizen to get down on their knees and pray for this country and that our elections will be secured. We can't do it alone, just like Washington's army could not have escaped without the miracle of the fog. The dense fog settled in the early morning hours of August 30, greatly aiding concealment of the final stages—one officer recalled barely being able to see a man six yards away. Washington remained on the Brooklyn side until nearly the end, boarding one of the last boats as dawn approached. The last troops (including the rear guard) crossed successfully; the operation was essentially complete by about 7 a.m.

The boys got back from young men's camp today in Huntsville. They were gone for three nights.
It was wonderful for boys to be out in nature with no screens!
