Program Director for Regional Affairs for Pacific Forum
Pacific Forum International is recruiting a program director for its online publications and security cooperation programs. Minimum qualifications include a relevant Master’s degree and professional experience related to Asian security issues, an established publication record, sound editing skills, and an interest in policy-oriented research. Other desirable qualifications include a PhD in a relevant academic discipline, evidence of integration into the community of Asian security or foreign policy experts, and a demonstrated ability to attract and execute research funding.
Salary negotiable. Expected range $70,000 - $90,000.
Specific duties include:
- Edit online publications;
- Direct Pacific Forum programs;
- Conduct research on security and foreign policy issues;
- Publish research findings;
- Participate in conferences and workshops;
- Direct the execution of workshops, seminars, and conferences:
- Develop grant proposals for funding;
- Mentor Pacific Forum fellows and young leaders;
- Support other fellows and staff, as required.
