Democratic Senator gets put on the hot seat after Bill Maher asks if she would take AIPAC money.

MAHER: “Would you take AIPAC money?”

ELISSA SLOTKIN: “So, actually, it’s interesting. Long before October 7th, I stopped taking AIPAC money… because they were giving money to people who had been participating in January 6th.”

MAHER: “Who was giving money?”

SLOTKIN: “AIPAC. They give money to both Democrats and Republicans, and people who had been involved in inciting January 6th… And as someone who barricaded herself in her office on January 6th, I didn’t agree with that.”

MAHER: “Convenient for you.”

Stephen A. Smith raised doubts and pressed her with further questions:

BILL MAHER: “Young people who learn everything about Israel on TikTok, they don’t know sh*t.”

“And [Democrats] are not standing up and saying, ‘Kids, you don’t know what’s going on here.’”

“Every war Israel has fought is a war of defense. Every war, they were attacked first.”

Stephen A. Smith tells Bill Maher’s audience to “stay tuned” as he calls out politicians for “KNOWING” where the money is—and not allocating it to the American people.

It all started when Bill Maher finally realized his tax dollars never go anywhere meaningful.

He said: “I just don’t understand the American economy. … I pay so much in taxes, and it doesn’t seem to get to the people.”

“Over half [my income goes to taxes]. And yet it just — I never read about the homeless getting better.”

Stephen A. Smith interjected and started to take over as Maher sat back and said, “Uh oh.”

Listen closely to how Smith described this Great American Scam. He even called out Marjorie Taylor Greene:

Stephen A. Smith gets a pity-filled pat on the shoulder after reacting “so surprised” to a basic truth in politics:

ELISSA SLOTKIN: “There are [politicians] on both sides...who all they think about is ‘How do I get the clicks?’ That’s how they decide their day.”

SMITH: “Yeah but you’re saying they don’t even know what they’re voting on?”

SLOTKIN: “No.”

SMITH: “WOW!”

SMITH: “So they just up on Capitol Hill, they don’t know what the hell they doing?”

SLOTKIN: “YES!”

MAHER: “Again, why are you always so surprised?”

SLOTKIN: “Why is this shocking to you?”

[Smith looks embarrassed]

[Cue the motherly pat on the shoulder]
