Bill Maher urges Trump to “cut and run” on Iran, says we “took the shot” and it “didn’t work.”

“Six weeks ago, we thought it was the right thing to do to take this shot now to deal with Iran once and for all.”

“We just don’t think jihadists and people who believe in martyrdom can have nukes.”

“Six weeks later, I think we’re at a different place.”

“You [Douglas Murray] think we’ve got to finish this no matter what it takes.”

“I was never on that page. I was on the page, ‘This is a great opportunity. Hey, we see them all in one place, we can wipe out the whole leadership at once. It looks like they’re ready for an uprising. Take the shot, Mav. Take the shot.’”

“We did it, and it didn’t work. Now what?”

“I hope [Trump] does what America has always done… We always cut and run.”

“We did it in Vietnam, we did it in Iraq. We did it to the Kurds. We did it in Afghanistan. Now we did it in Beirut. That’s us. No lifeguard on duty. If you get in with us, we are going to f*ck you.”

Paul Rieckhoff claimed once Trump is done with Iran, he’s “hitting” Cuba, Colombia, and CHICAGO.

“He’s all gas, no brakes… He is not going to stop until he stops.”

Maher fired back with great skepticism: “Let’s stick to Iran. Now, we’re in Chicago?”

RIECKHOFF: “They are in Chicago!”

MAHER: “I know, but it’s a whole different issue.”

Bill Maher just went so hard against Islam, it left his guests in stunned silence.

It all started when Maher recalled how people overused the term “Islamophobia” after 9/11.

He says that moment was the “beginning” of a “wokeness” that forbade you to say this out loud:

“There is such a thing as Western civilization. Remember after 9/11, if you said ‘clash of civilizations’? It was the beginning of sort of that wokeness where, ‘Oh, don’t say that. That’s Islamophobia.’”

“No, it was a clash of civilizations. The civilizations are very different, and OURS IS BETTER!”
