Hello Vanguards! Happy Friday! Happy Vitreus Day!! Today, I want to begin shaping some exciting new clarity around VITREUS’s token/chain and our new globally compliant ecosystem we call "The Power Grid". Global regulatory compliance and transparency is of upmost importance to us as we build out a Web3 empire that will position us all for a bright future. (Important to Note: the clarity around the token provided below does NOT change anything about our core B2B product suite… only adds to it and brings detail previously unknown to you as a holder .)

Power Grid & Power Plant —>
The Power Grid is a VITREUS wide network of nodes that all tie into our PUBLIC Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain, called the "Power Plant" — home to your token trading and staking. The Power Plant is designed to generate virtual energy through staking that is used to power the entire Vitreus ecosystem of connected parachains and products.

Node Operator —>
Ethereum’s nodes cost $40k-$60k… clearly out of reach for most people. So, we are excited to partner with a world-renowned hardware company, Western Digital, to build a secure Vitreus Node (think Raspberry Pi) which will be available for purchase by holders who desire to become node operators. We want to make it as easy and affordable as possible to operate your own node. We’re hoping to sell pre-programmed Vitreus Nodes for around $100 USD each and will be bringing some more technical communications about Node Set-Up and Operation in the near future.

Staking & VIP —>
Once you plug your node in (yes I want it to be that easy), you’ll stake your tokens to your node and generate virtual energy that can be sold back to the grid for profit if you choose. Energy is held in-wallet and is used across the VITREUS power grid for core node operations, making the network faster, more efficient and more powerful. Additionally, the VIP program remains the same, available to stakers as previously discussed, but will require tokens to be locked for 12 months for participation.
