WhatsApp is almost ready to release quoted messages.
Found some new tracks in WA for android 2.16.54 beta version and there are improvements of quoted messages in 2.16.3.523 iOS one.

WhatsApp developers added quoted messages in 2.12.17.100 (iOS) but they disabled them and they never enabled them.

Now Developers added them in Android (they are keeping them disabled too) but when new features are found in Android builds, it's very possible that they are released for all soon (so, quoted messages will be available for all iOS and Android users very soon).

WhatsApp developers are ready to release their Windows and Mac apps, so we will have a WhatsApp native client app on our computers.

#OffTopic:

Facebook and Messenger will support Touch ID to protect individual conversations, secret chats like Telegram app, possibility to exchange money between friends and many other.

Telegram supports channel comments: people that are following your channel will able to comment your posts, if you will enable this option.
This feature is actually disabled/incomplete.

Spotify supports lyrics viewer while you are listening music. This feature is actually disabled.

YouTube added WhatsApp sharing option and interactive notifications support.

Dropbox has a hidden option to see all your generated links that you created for the sharing of your files.

To discover more about hidden features, you can see the @iOSAppChanges Twitter Account.

WhatsApp will allow you to send invite links to let your friends to join your group.
So, every group will have an invite link.
You will be able to revoke a group's invite link and WhatsApp will generate another new link.
This feature should be in Messenger app.
You can find some translations screenshots in my Twitter Account.
Actually the feature is in WhatsApp beta for Android. When developers will add it in WhatsApp beta for iOS, I will unlock it and I will publish screenshots for you.

But.. Will WhatsApp add usernames too? So this feature will have more sense, because it's easier to manually add a friend: why should we send the link of a group if we can immediately add the friend into the group?

WhatsApp for Android developers are going to add video calls in beta version in any moment now, so video calls feature isn't so far.

There are hidden strings in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.16.69:

A strange string is "Requested by"..
What does it mean?
What will the user be able to request in WhatsApp? 😮

WhatsApp for Windows and Mac is available now for all.
Enjoy.

WhatsApp released 2.16.3 version for iOS on the AppStore.
AppStore changelog reports "Bug fixes" only for 2.16.3, but this is not true, because WhatsApp developers added 56 news in 2.16.3, that you can read opening the attached link.

This is a very important update.
WhatsApp keeps many feature disabled, maybe to enable them in the same future update.
Video calls can be officially enabled by an OTA update by WhatsApp, so we will not have to wait that a new update will be available for having video calls.
