Центр Дэвиса Гарвардского университета и ASEEES (Ассоциация славянских, восточноевропейских и евразийских исследований) попросили меня разместить это объявление и анкету.
В настоящее время они изучают возможности помощи преподавателям и исследователям из вузов России и Беларуси, уже покинувшим свои страны, или собирающимся это сделать в ближайшие месяцы. Пока они пытаются оценить масштаб проблемы и понять, куда переехали или планируют переехать такие преподаватели и исследователи.
Если вас интересует возможность получения дистанционной аффилиации с одним из университетов США, а также работа в одном из вузов Армении, Грузии, Казахстана, Узбекистана, Киргизии в качестве приглашенного исследователя или преподавателя, заполните эту анкету.
Анкета может быть заполнена анонимно. Вы сами можете решить, на какие вопросы вы готовы ответить, а на какие нет. Друзья, я уверен, что многие из вас это знают, но вдруг - есть такой прекрасный фонд Hill Foundation, который уже десятилетиями покрывает обучение в магистратуре и докторантуре в Оксфорде и Кембридже для студентов из России. Это очень хорошая возможность - много моих знакомых закончили программы в Оксбридже благодаря поддержке Hill. Фонд дает аж по 15 стипендий на каждый университет, а в контексте войны, международной изоляции и всего этого ада - это чуть ли не единственная возможность отучиться в магистратуре или докторантуре в Великобритании для россиян.
Чтобы претендовать на стипендию, надо подать заявку на соответсвующие программы в Оксбридже до дедлайнов в декабре 2022 и январе 2023. Заявки должны сначала пройти конкурентный отбор в университетах, что сложно. Но сейчас есть люди, готовые помогать. В ТГ есть группа академической взаимопомощи “Дорогие Коллеги” - среди волонтеров много выпускников и нынешних студентов Оксбриджа, которые готовы смотреть заявки, читать письма, отвечать на вопросы про поступление - можно писать им в бот и просить помощи.

Друзья, я уверен, что многие из вас это знают, но вдруг - есть такой прекрасный фонд Hill Foundation, который уже десятилетиями покрывает обучение в магистратуре и докторантуре в Оксфорде и Кембридже для студентов из России. Это очень хорошая возможность - много моих знакомых закончили программы в Оксбридже благодаря поддержке Hill. Фонд дает аж по 15 стипендий на каждый университет, а в контексте войны, международной изоляции и всего этого ада - это чуть ли не единственная возможность отучиться в магистратуре или докторантуре в Великобритании для россиян.
Чтобы претендовать на стипендию, надо подать заявку на соответсвующие программы в Оксбридже до дедлайнов в декабре 2022 и январе 2023. Заявки должны сначала пройти конкурентный отбор в университетах, что сложно. Но сейчас есть люди, готовые помогать. В ТГ есть группа академической взаимопомощи “Дорогие Коллеги” - среди волонтеров много выпускников и нынешних студентов Оксбриджа, которые готовы смотреть заявки, читать письма, отвечать на вопросы про поступление - можно писать им в бот и просить помощи.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the University of South Florida (USF) invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning on August 7, 2023. The School seeks a candidate with expertise in International Security broadly defined. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates with regional expertise in China, Middle East, and/or Russia. The hiring builds on USF's 2022 Strategic Plan, which emphasizes global and national security as a core area of institutional focus and will also strengthen the School's Masters and Doctoral degrees in Politics and International Affairs. The teaching load is two courses per semester (four courses per academic year). This position is open until filled, with an initial review of applications beginning on October 28, 2022. Salary is competitive.
The minimum requirement for this position is a Ph. D. in Political Science, Government, International Studies, or International Relations with a specialization in International Security from an Accredited Institution. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with regional expertise in China, Middle East, and/or Russia.

ситуация становится все хуже. Тем не менее существует много стипендий, которые поддерживают исследователей разных направлений и статусов, - исследователей, которых преследуют или на которых давят.
Тем не менее основной вопрос, который обычно задают, "могу ли я подать, если у меня такие и такие обстоятельства".
Поскольку я волей судеб знаю кое что про такие программы, как туда подавать, кого берут, что писать в мотивационном письме, то я собираюсь устроить семинар. Приходите и обсудим ваши ситуации.
Кому интересно, сохраните дату: 12 октября, 20.00 - приходите в зум. Ссылку я пришлю накануне.

International (foreign national) students who would like to study in a graduate program offered by the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences can be accepted with conditional admission taking into account the application requirements for Spring Semester of 2022-2023 Academic Year.
