Epic Games has launched its own Git alternative - Lore
While Git handles large binary files with Git LFS and Perforce is proprietary and needs a live connection to its server, Lore is open source, works offline and easily handles binaries.
The core library, server, and CLI are all written in Rust, with official SDKs for JavaScript, Python, C#, and Go. It is currently pre-1.0 and in active development.

Normal editing operations—staging, committing, branching, diffing—never require a network round trip.

Not a release announcement, but I was playing around with AOSP 17 and found out that Split/Dual QS Implementation is usable now & almost complete in AOSP [1], there are some quirks with clock color on light mode, but it's not a huge blocker and can be fixed. The preference is gated behind aconfig flag, once enabled it can be found in Settings > Notifications > Notifications & Quick Settings.
Google has also pushed the code for background blur for widget picker. [2]
Both features can be enabled by picking following commits.
