Cex.io, Lbank and other popular crypto exchanges shutdown ops in India.
India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) is flexing its regulatory muscles with non-compliance notices under Section 13 of the ancient Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 against 25 offshore Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers (VDA SPs), slamming them for serving Indian users without registration.
The hit list includes globals like
Huione (Cambodia),
BC.game (Curaçao),
Paxful (US),
Changelly (Hong Kong),
CEX.IO (US/UK),
LBank (BVI),
YouHodler (Switzerland),
BingX (BVI),
PrimeXBT (St. Lucia),
BTCC (UK),
CoinEx (Hong Kong),
LCX (Liechtenstein),
Under the IT Act's Section 79(3)(b), FIU-IND demands takedowns of their apps and URLs for dodging AML/CFT obligations like reporting, record-keeping, transaction monitoring, and KYC regardless of physical presence in India.
CEX has issued a notice that they would shut down in india by October 9. Lbank and others haven't responded.

China's Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has reportedly suffered a data breach
A threat hacker from the secret forums website, allegedly selling the source code, including the tools they use (eg. unlocking bootloader, edl authentication, etc.)
There's no further announcement from Huawei yet, and the source was sold now. The revenue is around $98.5B, and sold it for $1K only.

This is what happens when you try to make everything digital and store it on some servers. No network/system is hack-proof, ever. Imagine you wake up and read a notification saying your "Government ID" is now in the hands of an "unauthorised party," man…
Damn, 500k+ users' data allegedly got leaked, check this video out by NTTS:

Reddit recommended this post to me, man people are beyond cooked at this point
Saw some people complaining about how their "boyfriends", now upgraded to GPT-5 aren't as good as GPT-4o. Hell, they even watch shows with a computer chip
How do they not cringe while typing with those asterisks expressing their emotions through some "text messages"? *feeling that lump in my throat* lmfaooo and that's just one example
This sub itself has ~32K members, and there may be many other subreddits like these.

Trump Mobile now sells renewed phones as well, which is "brought to life right here in the USA." Interesting addition.
In order to buy the renewed phone, you will have to "pay for your first month of Trump Mobile Service" as well.
I wonder who would actually buy renewed phones from Trump Mobile.
