🆕 Gemini Launches Solana Credit Card with Staking Rewards

🚀 Gemini has introduced a new Solana edition of its credit card, following the success of its XRP card. This new offering integrates spending with staking, allowing users to earn up to 4% back in Solana (SOL) on various purchases, including gas and dining. The card also features automatic staking for Solana rewards, enabling customers to earn passive rewards while supporting the Solana blockchain's network security.

💳 The reward structure is consistent across all Gemini Credit Card editions, offering 3% back on dining, 2% on groceries, and 1% on other purchases. Additionally, select merchants will provide up to 10% back on qualifying purchases for all cardholders. This tiered system allows users to earn rewards in over 50 supported cryptocurrencies.

For the first time, Gemini customers will also be able to automatically stake their Solana credit card rewards directly,

the company stated. This feature allows users to participate in validating transactions and maintaining the network's security while earning rewards.

🌐 The Solana edition shares a zero-fee structure with the XRP card, including no annual or foreign transaction fees, and provides access to Mastercard World Elite benefits. This launch reflects Gemini's strategy to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance by making crypto rewards a mainstream feature.

📈 In summary, the Gemini Solana Credit Card offers a unique blend of cashback rewards and staking opportunities, positioning itself as a competitive option in the growing market of crypto-integrated payment tools.

🗓 WazirX Resumes Trading After Overhaul

🔄 Indian crypto exchange WazirX announced its trading resumption on October 24, following a significant pause for system improvements. The exchange is implementing a phased rollout of its tokens, set to be fully operational by October 27, alongside a promotional offer of zero trading fees for 30 days.

Starting 24th Oct, 2025, tokens will be enabled for trading in phases over four days, reaching full activation by 27th Oct, 2025,

WazirX stated. This approach aims to restore liquidity safely and confirm technical stability before returning to normal trading across all market pairs.

🚨 The pause was necessitated by a major security breach in July 2024, which resulted in the theft of approximately $230 million in digital assets. Since then, WazirX has conducted infrastructure audits and compliance reviews.
All tokens in the USDT market will be reactivated first,

the exchange noted, with the INR market initially supporting only the USDT/INR pair.

🔄 As trading resumes, crypto withdrawals will also be reinstated, while INR withdrawals have remained active throughout the pause.

💰 ETHzilla Corporation Sells $40 Million in Ethereum for Stock Buybacks

📉 ETHzilla Corporation recently made headlines by selling approximately $40 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) from its treasury. This move was aimed at funding ongoing stock buybacks as part of its $250 million board-approved buyback program. Since October 24, the decentralized finance (DeFi) firm has repurchased around 600,000 shares for about $12 million, citing that the stock trades at a “significant discount” to its net asset value (NAV).

📊 McAndrew Rudisill, ETHzilla’s chairman and CEO, stated,
We are leveraging the strength of our balance sheet, including reducing our ETH holdings, to execute share repurchases.

He emphasized that the company anticipates these buybacks to be “immediately accretive,” enhancing NAV per share while decreasing availability for stock loan and borrow activity. Following this announcement, ETHZ shares surged by 32% this week and rose by 14% today.

💼 Despite the recent sale, ETHzilla retains approximately $400 million in ETH for future strategic initiatives, some of which are staked. The company plans to continue selling portions of its holdings for repurchases until the discount to NAV “normalizes.” This decision comes after a 1-for-10 reverse stock split announcement, which had caused a dip in ETHzilla’s stock over the past week.

🗣 The move sparked mixed reactions among retail investors on social media. Some traders criticized the firm’s actions, with one remarking,
⭢ $40M dump ⭢ Stock buybacks ⭢ ETHZILLA goes full Wall Street. Decentralized … kinda.

This sentiment reflects the unusual nature of a digital asset treasury (DAT) firm cashing in its own crypto reserves.

🌉 Despite the controversy, ETHzilla positions itself as a bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). The company offers services such as tokenization, blockchain analytics, and Ethereum-based infrastructure. Following the sale, ETHzilla continues to promote its balance-sheet strength and DeFi ambitions.

💰 AUSTRAC Takes Action Against Cryptolink for AML Violations

⚖️ The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) has issued a $56,340 infringement notice to Cryptolink, a crypto ATM operator, for failing to report large cash transactions on time. This action follows findings from AUSTRAC's Crypto Taskforce, which highlighted issues with Cryptolink's late reporting and inadequate risk assessments related to money laundering and terrorism financing.

Crypto ATMs represent one of the highest-risk channels for money laundering in Australia,

said AUSTRAC CEO Brendan Thomas. He emphasized that these ATMs are exploited by criminals to launder money and transfer proceeds from scams. The enforcement action aims to address prior noncompliance and ensure that Cryptolink enhances its risk assessments and strengthens its overall anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT) controls.

🔍 As part of the enforceable undertaking accepted by AUSTRAC, Cryptolink must engage third-party reviewers to validate its reporting of all necessary threshold transactions. These reviewers will assess the effectiveness of controls related to large cash transactions. Cryptolink is required to provide AUSTRAC with a written report on the actions taken to address the findings by March 13, 2026.

📊 This enforcement action comes after intensive engagement with cryptocurrency ATM operators by AUSTRAC. The Crypto Taskforce revealed that 85% of transactions conducted by the 90 most frequent crypto ATM users were linked to scams and money mule activities.
Scams drive a significant amount of suspicious activity. Criminals are increasingly using crypto ATMs to manipulate and cash out stolen funds,

Thomas added.

🚨 The second phase of the Crypto Taskforce focuses on high-risk operations. Thomas stressed the need for all operators in the digital currency sector to take these issues seriously.
Criminals don’t care how they hurt people; they care about making money,

he said.
We want to collaborate with digital currency exchanges to fortify the sector against exploitation. However, if operators fail to heed these warnings, we will be compelled to take further action.

⚖️ Thodex Founder’s Death Sparks Renewed Debate on Crypto Oversight in Turkey

📰 The recent death of Faruk Fatih Özer, founder of the controversial cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, has sent shockwaves through Turkey's crypto landscape and reignited discussions about investor trust and regulation in the digital asset sector. Özer was found dead in his prison cell at Tekirdağ No. 1 F Type High Security Closed Penal Institution, with officials reporting that he was discovered hanging from a bedsheet attached to his bathroom door.

🕵️‍♂️ This incident has prompted the Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to launch an investigation, and an autopsy has been ordered. Özer's rise to prominence as a tech entrepreneur was overshadowed by the collapse of Thodex, which was embroiled in Turkey's largest financial fraud case. The platform, which started with a capital of 400,000 liras, allegedly misled investors through false digital asset transactions. Prosecutors sought lengthy sentences for Özer and 20 others on charges including forming a criminal organization and qualified fraud.

✈️ After fleeing to Albania in 2021, Özer was arrested and extradited back to Turkey, where he was sentenced to 11,196 years in prison in September 2023. However, part of this ruling was later overturned by the Istanbul Regional Court of Justice, which released him from the charge of forming a criminal organization while keeping him detained for other offenses. At the time of his death, a retrial for him and other defendants was still ongoing.

🔍 Özer’s case has raised significant concerns about investor protection and the integrity of crypto trading platforms in Turkey, a country where interest in digital assets is rapidly increasing. Many investors are now calling for stricter regulations and safer trading environments in light of the Thodex scandal, which exposed systemic risks in unregulated exchanges.

It represented one of the largest crypto frauds in Turkey, exposing systemic risks in unregulated exchanges and investor vulnerability.

💬 As the investigation into Thodex continues despite Özer's death, it is clear that this scandal will have lasting implications for the future of cryptocurrency regulation in Turkey.

💰 Metaplanet Inc. Leverages Bitcoin Holdings for $100 Million Loan Amid Market Downturn

📉 Metaplanet Inc., a publicly listed bitcoin treasury company in Japan, has secured a $100 million loan against its bitcoin holdings to finance acquisitions and bolster its balance sheet during a market downturn. The loan was executed under an existing credit facility agreement and finalized on October 31, 2025.

🔒 The loan is secured by Metaplanet's bitcoin reserves, totaling 30,823 BTC valued at approximately $3.5 billion. The facility's terms include an interest rate linked to the U.S. dollar rate plus a spread. Metaplanet plans to use the proceeds primarily for additional bitcoin acquisitions, its "Bitcoin Income Generation" business, and potential share repurchases depending on market conditions.

📊 Metaplanet maintains a conservative approach to leverage, ensuring its bitcoin-backed borrowing remains fully covered even during significant price fluctuations. The company emphasizes the importance of maintaining collateral adequacy "even in the event of significant price declines in bitcoin."

🏢 Founded in 1999 and led by CEO Simon Gerovich, Metaplanet has transitioned from a hotel operator to Japan's first bitcoin treasury company. Its strategy integrates bitcoin accumulation, treasury optimization, and educational initiatives. The financial impact of this borrowing on its 2025 earnings is expected to be minimal, with further disclosures to be made if necessary.

🔒 The Rise of Privacy-Focused Stablecoins in Decentralized Finance

💰 Traditional stablecoins like USDT and USDC are crucial for decentralized finance (DeFi) and cross-border transactions, but there is a growing demand for privacy-focused alternatives. Experts believe that despite initial slower liquidity growth, privacy stablecoins will soon become standard in the market.

🏦 While traditional stablecoins offer price stability, they compromise on privacy. Transactions are publicly recorded on blockchains, exposing wallet addresses, balances, and transaction histories. This level of transparency is often incompatible with the confidentiality standards required for traditional finance and many enterprise use cases.

🔍 Experts agree that the primary driver for privacy stablecoins is institutional and enterprise necessity. For businesses, privacy is about confidentiality and protecting competitive or personal data. Institutions require privacy to gain economic advantages or unlock new lines of business.

📈 Some observers project significant growth in this demand, especially with upcoming stablecoin legislation like the GENIUS Act. However, they assert that large-scale adoption can only occur when privacy measures are in place.

⚖️ Despite the clear demand for privacy stablecoins, regulatory uncertainty remains a major hurdle. Achieving widespread stablecoin adoption requires more than just anonymity. Connor Howe, CEO of Enso.Build, warns that ZK proofs alone do not resolve the compliance problem.

Although ZK proofs address the privacy issue, they don’t resolve the compliance problem independently.

He states,
Until there’s a clear framework for how privacy and disclosure coexist, institutions will continue to use USDT and USDC.

💱 The discussion also touches on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), which are being designed to incorporate a limited form of programmable privacy. Critics argue that this centralized design undermines the competitive viability of private stablecoins.

💡 However, experts believe that CBDCs will actually catalyze the growth of private stablecoins. Shahaf Bar Geffen, CEO at COTI, notes,
Stablecoins will therefore offer a flexibility that CBDCs cannot match and will have uses in DeFi that CBDC cannot fulfill.

🔮 Experts are optimistic that privacy stablecoins will not only enter the top stablecoin ranks but that privacy will become a necessary feature for the industry’s largest players within the next five years. They see the current transparent market as the “HTTP era” of digital money, with a transformation to encrypted, private transactions (the “HTTPS era”) being inevitable.

🛠 While technical and experiential hurdles remain, experts believe that the demand for privacy stablecoins will continue to grow and that they will play a significant role in the future of decentralized finance.

⚔️ China Accuses U.S. of Involvement in Major Bitcoin Seizure

📰 China has escalated cyber tensions with the U.S. by alleging that Washington played a covert role in one of the largest bitcoin seizures in history. On November 9, 2025, China's National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center (CVERC) released a report claiming that the U.S. government unlawfully seized bitcoin stolen during a 2020 cyberattack.

🔍 The report detailed a December 2020 cyberattack on the Lubian mining pool, where hackers exploited system vulnerabilities to steal 127,272 BTC—valued at approximately $3.5 billion at the time. It outlined a timeline of events leading to the seizure by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in October 2025, alleging that this was "a typical case of thieves falling out" involving state actors.

💼 CVERC asserted that the stolen bitcoin matched those transferred to wallets identified by Arkham as controlled by the U.S. government. The report suggested that the funds had remained untouched for years, indicating a state-level precision operation. It portrayed the DOJ's charges against Cambodian businessman Chen Zhi as an attempt to legitimize an earlier seizure through hacking activity.

🚫 Contradicting the DOJ's claims that the assets were criminal proceeds, the report argued that only a small fraction came from questionable sources; the majority were from independent mining, pool payouts, and exchange transactions. It called for improved blockchain security practices to prevent such incidents in the future.

🌍 This incident highlights China's efforts to frame the situation as evidence of U.S. cyber interference amid a broader contest with Washington over blockchain governance and cybersecurity dominance.

🚫 Michael Saylor Refutes Bitcoin Sale Rumors

🗣 Michael Saylor, executive chairman and co-founder of Strategy, the largest bitcoin treasury company, denied rumors about a potential bitcoin sale. Speaking on CNBC’s Squawk Box, he emphasized that Strategy is still actively buying bitcoin.

📉 Recent reports from Arkham Intelligence indicated a movement of 47,000 BTC in Strategy’s holdings, coinciding with a drop in bitcoin prices to $95K. This sparked speculation about a possible sale. However, Saylor clarified that these movements were likely internal transactions and stated,
There is no truth to this rumor.

📊 He reiterated Strategy’s commitment to accumulating BTC as part of its business strategy, noting that bitcoin has outperformed most assets in recent years. Saylor remarked,
If you’re going to be a Bitcoin investor, you need a 4-year time horizon, and you need to be prepared to handle the volatility in this market.

💰 When asked about Strategy's recent purchases, Saylor confirmed that the company was buying “quite a lot” and hinted that upcoming news would be pleasantly surprising for investors. He later stated on social media that Strategy had bought bitcoin every day that week.

🔍 Saylor’s statements are significant for the market as Strategy’s position is seen as an indicator of bitcoin's health and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem. His continued optimism fosters trust among BTC holders and stakeholders.

📉 It's crucial to note that any symbolic sale or liquidation by Strategy could trigger a selloff due to its psychological impact on the crypto market. However, Saylor has assured that Strategy is almost leverage-free and would remain over-collateralized even if bitcoin prices fell by 80%. This solid foundation positions Strategy to continue acquiring BTC during market pullbacks.

📈 Escalating Demand for Solana ETFs: Vaneck's Competitive Launch

🚀 The demand for Solana (SOL) exposure through regulated investment vehicles is rapidly increasing, leading to heightened competition among ETF issuers. On November 17, Vaneck announced the launch of its Vaneck Solana ETF (VSOL), which offers access to SOL and staking features.

📜 According to the prospectus,
The Vaneck Solana ETF (the ‘Trust’) is an exchange-traded fund that issues common shares of beneficial interest (the ‘Shares’) that are expected to be approved for listing, subject to notice of issuance, on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (the ‘Exchange’) under the ticker symbol VSOL.

The Trust will track SOL’s price and staking rewards through the Marketvector Solana Benchmark Rate. It outlines basket-based creations and redemptions, allowed in cash or in kind, and explains that Gemini Trust Company and Coinbase Custody will safeguard SOL holdings.

💰 Vaneck is waiving its sponsor fee for VSOL at launch for the first $1 billion in assets or until February 17, 2026. This move comes in response to increased competitive pressure following Bitwise’s successful rollout of its Solana ETF (BSOL). While the Trust’s disclosures highlight exposure to volatility and technical dependencies, proponents point to regulated custody frameworks and transparent NAV methodology as appealing factors for institutions seeking disciplined access to fast-execution blockchain networks.

📊 Key considerations for investors include:
- Fee waivers may enhance early inflows by reducing initial holding costs.
- Rising institutional demand for low-fee exposure to high-throughput blockchain infrastructure is accelerating product launches.
- Staking incorporates reward accrual into overall performance, potentially increasing total return variability.
- Regulated custody structures can mitigate operational risk and strengthen institutional confidence in on-chain asset management.

🛠 Bitcoin's Current Market Dynamics: A Balancing Act Between Bulls and Bears

📉 Bitcoin is currently experiencing significant price fluctuations, trading between $83,677 and $84,142. With a market cap of $1.67 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of $143.39 billion, it showcases its typical volatility within a daily range of $81,050 to $91,765.

Bitcoin has tumbled from a high of $126,272 to lows scraping the psychological $80,537 support. That’s a 36% drawdown—enough to make even the most diamond-handed holders reach for chamomile tea.

📊 The daily chart reveals a bearish trend with a series of lower highs and lows. The resistance ceiling is at $92,000 to $95,000, while the $80,000 zone serves as psychological support against further decline. Volume surged during the recent drop, suggesting potential capitulation—a classic precursor to a bounce, but not a guarantee.

🔍 On the 4-hour chart, the downtrend remains intact, but signs of bullish divergence are emerging. Price has reached new lows, yet volume refuses to follow suit. This subtle discrepancy could foreshadow a relief rally, especially as candles flirt with the $83,500 level.

📈 The 1-hour chart shows a microtrend reversal gaining traction, marked by green candles and an uptick in volume. A bounce off $80,537 reinforces the legitimacy of this potential pivot. If price breaches $84,000, attention will shift toward targets between $87,000 and $88,000.

📉 However, technical indicators present a mixed picture. The relative strength index (RSI) is at 23, indicating an oversold market but not yet ready for optimism. Moving averages are broadcasting a united front of pessimism, with every major average trailing above the current price.

For the brave optimists, the micro-bullish signals on the 1-hour chart—rising volume, a potential bullish engulfing pattern, and divergence on the 4-hour timeframe—are whispering, “Not dead yet.”

🛑 Macro bears still dominate the market. Every major moving average is above the price, indicating downward pressure. Unless Bitcoin secures a daily close above $95,000, this bounce could be temporary.

Macro bears are still in the driver’s seat, and they’re not letting go without a fight.

🦃 Surge in XRP ETFs Ahead of Thanksgiving: A Response to Institutional Demand

📈 A pre-Thanksgiving surge in new XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is underway as issuers respond to increasing institutional demand. Several launches are scheduled for this week, indicating expanded regulated access, enhanced liquidity, and wider market participation.

💬 Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse remarked on social media,
The pre-Thanksgiving rush (shall we say, ‘turkey trot’!?) for XRP ETFs starts now.

He congratulated Bitwise for launching its XRP ETF last week, following the debut of the Canary Capital XRP ETF on November 13. Expectations are set for Grayscale’s and Franklin’s XRP ETFs to commence trading on November 24.

📄 Grayscale’s recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) outlines the structure of its upcoming GXRP product, which includes continuous issuance and an arbitrage mechanism. Custody will be managed by Coinbase Custody Trust Company LLC. Meanwhile, Franklin Holdings LLC has submitted an amendment for its XRP ETF, expected to list on the NYSE Arca under the ticker XRPZ.

🔍 Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart stated,
Our base case is that Grayscale’s XRP ETF will go live on Monday the 24th. So will the Grayscale Dogecoin ETF. And I think the Franklin’s XRP ETF could go live on Monday the 24th as well.

Other managers, like 21shares, are also joining the fray with plans to list their XRP ETF on the Cboe BZX Exchange.

💡 The growing availability of XRP ETFs is expected to deepen liquidity and provide clearer pricing signals. Proponents argue that regulated ETFs enhance transparency and reduce friction for institutional investors entering the digital asset space.

📅 In summary, the clustering of XRP ETF launches around November 24 aims to capitalize on rising institutional interest. The upcoming products from Grayscale, Franklin, Bitwise, and 21shares reflect a confidence in XRP’s evolving market and its growing appeal to traditional finance stakeholders.

🚀 Revolut Eliminates Fees on Tezos Delegation Rewards

🌍 Revolut, a leading fintech company, has announced the removal of all platform fees on Tezos (XTZ) delegation rewards, effective November 26. This means that customers holding XTZ will now receive 100% of the on-chain delegation rewards generated by the Tezos network.

💰 This announcement comes shortly after Revolut completed a share sale that valued the company at $75 billion. The transaction was led by Coatue, Greenoaks, Dragoneer, and Fidelity Management and Research Company, with participation from other notable investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Franklin Templeton.

Revolut’s decision to pass 100% of delegation rewards to users demonstrates the compelling economics of Tezos; this creates an unbeatable user experience

said Vincent Poulain, manager of technical user relations at Nomadic Labs.

🔄 Revolut currently auto-delegates all XTZ balances, allowing users to earn rewards while maintaining full liquidity of their assets. Emil Urmanshin, director of crypto and new bets at Revolut, emphasized the importance of this feature:
We know our customers want their crypto to work harder for them, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering with tez. It’s the kind of simple, transparent earning experience our users deserve

🌐 With this new zero-fee structure, all Revolut tez holders can earn full delegation rewards without any deductions or platform charges. This change follows the recent Rio protocol upgrade by Tezos, which simplified network participation by reducing network cycles to just one day.

📈 While Revolut offers trading for over 280 cryptocurrencies, only 13 currently include native earn features. The inclusion of Tezos in this select group, combined with the new zero-fee structure, positions XTZ as a standout earning option on the platform.

By handling all technical aspects of delegation automatically, Revolut ensures users experience all the advantages of delegating without needing to understand validators, delegation mechanics, or manage any complex settings

the article states. This flexibility and zero-fee approach offer an optimal balance of earning potential and accessibility for users across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

🗳 Democrats Gain Ground in House Races Ahead of 2026 Midterms

📉 President Donald Trump's approval rating has declined from the initial highs following his inauguration, with recent polls placing him between 36% and 39%. This shift has led to speculation about the upcoming congressional elections, with prediction markets suggesting that Democrats have a strong chance of regaining a House majority in 2026.

📊 According to Polymarket bettors, Democrats have a 78% likelihood of winning the House, while Republicans are at 23%. Similar odds are reflected on Kalshi, another prediction platform, indicating a consistent trend across different markets. These platforms have seen significant betting volumes, with Kalshi's version of the wager exceeding $2 million.

🗳 Various quantitative models also support the idea of a Democratic comeback in the House. However, not all analysts agree on this outcome. Cook's latest ratings show Republicans with an advantage in 213 districts compared to 204 for Democrats, with 18 districts classified as toss-ups. This structural edge for Republicans cautions against assuming a Democratic sweep.

🔄 If Democrats do reclaim the House in 2026, they may push for stricter regulations on the crypto industry. However, the extent of any changes would depend on the composition of the Senate and Trump's veto power. A divided government is more likely to result in gridlock or compromised solutions rather than significant regulatory overhauls.

⚖️ Overall, the political landscape as the 2026 elections approach is complex and fluid. With mixed signals from voters and prediction markets leaning towards Democrats, the coming months will be crucial for both parties as they vie for control and influence over future policies.
