‎Just as being conscious of Allah brings provision, being unmindful of Allah brings poverty. There is nothing certain to deserve the provision of Allah than keeping away from sinful acts (and doing that which removes sins: istighfar, good deeds).

Disobeying the desires (in the strong moment when a slave experiences it) puts a servant in (a unique) position/state that in which if he makes an oath by Allah in supplication (to receive anything) Allah will fulfil it. So He executes (the du’a) for him many folds more than the desires that he abandoned (for His sake).
