⚪️ U.S. Marshals Service delivered outstanding July results in Operation Summer Surge arresting 158 fugitives, including 34 gang members, wanted for homicide, attempted murder, rape, bank robbery, and other violent crimes.

🔴 PA man charged with possessing, transporting and detonating an explosive device. After a bomb exploded in a NJ neighborhood, FBI Newark Joint Terrorism Task Force & law enforcement partners identified and arrested the suspect only days later.

🔵 Through Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide effort by DOJ to combat child sexual exploitation, Jersey City man is charged with possessing child pornography involving infants/toddlers, and a PA man indicted on 5 counts of child exploitation.

🚨Today a former Senior Aide to the Mayor of Newark plead guilty to conspiracy to commit honest services fraud. This is a clear example of a pay-to-play scheme, where public officials exploit their positions of power to obtain bribes in exchange for doing their jobs. This betrays the trust of the very community members they claim to serve.
