The US Iran deal could help transform America's Mideast strategy
"Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED."
The Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's statement this week confirms a cessation of hostilities between Washington and Tehran, to be formalized on June 19 in Geneva. Vice President J.D. Vance is expected to sign the deal alongside Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf - the man with whom he negotiated in Islamabad during the first US Iran talks at this level since 1979. Intriguingly, both Vance and President Donald Trump on Monday said a deal had already been signed. Military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, will terminate immediately and permanently; the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for the global oil trade, will reopen...
Speaking of laughable, here's an article by The American Conservative. You know what this is before even reading it.

What would happen if US actually cut off military aid to Israel?
Its ability to wage war and occupy more territory in Lebanon - and for how long - certainly comes into question.
As Israeli officials lash out against a preliminary deal to end the war in Iran, Trump is returning the favor. "I'm not happy with the way Israel has handled themselves with Lebanon," Trump said Tuesday. "Israel would have been blown up a long time ago had I not gotten involved."
The comments represent a nadir in US Israel relations under Trump. The dispute is fundamental. Trump is determined to end the war with Iran, and Iran has made clear that a peace deal is only possible if Israel halts its operations against Hezbollah, an Iranian ally, in Lebanon. A purported leak of this week's memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran explicitly states that the war in Lebanon must end as part of a deal...
This will be the last article of its kind I'll share for now, but I want you to see it's everywhere.

Trump's Iran truce marks a defeat for American power
Washington's failed gamble shows how far the global balance of power has moved.
What a difference a year makes! Last June, in the wake of the first joint Israeli US attack on Iran, a joke was making the rounds in the Middle East. It described a bartender welcoming an American, an Israeli, and an Iranian into his bar, offering them beers and saying: "Congratulations, gentlemen; you have all won." Not so this time. There's no question that there is only one winner in the second war against Iran: Iran. There are also multiple losers, including America and Israel.
Make no mistake. A truce doesn't equal peace. Key issues are left for future talks, and there is no certainty that these will yield results, or that any agreements will hold. What we are dealing with here and now is not just another Middle East conflict...
This is bafflingly naive, even if expected. More on it in a bit.

The Iran trumpet blowing...
As expected, everyone declared victory in Iran. Iran, the US, Israel, your grandmother... The only issue is, this is exactly how the US wages its wars of aggression. The hit and run tactics are well documented and have been observed in several countries. The Judeo-American empire will be back whenever it suits best. In the meantime, it will continue to destabilize Iran from within through its covert operations, including social media and the funding of "opposition."
There was no victory for Iran and no defeat for "American power." That's because everyone under the boot of "American power" refuses to fight. The boot will eventually crush Iran, unless Iran stops doing "omg diplooomacy." The Judeo-American empire only understands force.
The US will be back. If it fails again, it'll do another memorandum and wait a little longer, while preparing for another round of aggression. Then it'll come back again... Until Iran falls apart, just like Syria.

Failure by proxy...
In the meantime, the Judeo-American empire will go back to focusing on Russia. More sanctions, more attacks on oil refineries, more weapons for Ukraine, more propaganda. Not that it ever stopped. Russia had some time while the US was slightly distracted, but, following their tradition of failure, did nothing with it.
Just today, an oil refinery in Moscow proper is burning. I bet this is a red line. Behind every attack on a school bus, there is a NATO operative. Behind every NATO operative, there's the US.
Yet instead of seizing opportunity, Russia keeps talking about "US mediated" peace talks. Their promises of "escalating strikes" turned out to be empty words, as always. "A 100 cuts is not enough, give me 900 more, as we agreed in Anchorage." Okay then.

And how can we discuss the baffling stupidity of those who present themselves as being in opposition to the empire without talking about China? No, no, we cannot. They're another darling of the so called "Global South," a term the Chinese love dearly. China does nothing. Actually, worse than nothing. They are profiteers in all of this. And no, UN letters don't count as doing something, sorry.
China seems to be the last bastion of cope at the "multipolar" fan expo. I'm not sure why. What exactly have they done over the past decade to help their supposed friends against US aggression? Bought oil from Russia? To quote Christian Bale, "oh goooood for yoooou." Gave Iran satellite images? Am I supposed to be praise that? Or do we count the whining of their Foreign Ministry? I think not.

The US Iran MoU is a product of Tehran's survival first strategy
While Iran has turned toward China for support and to deepen ties, Beijing views Iran as a chaotic regime that doesn't offer a return on investment.
...This set in motion an Iranian attempt to basically turn off relations with the West and shift towards China. Iran already had close ties with Russia, but after 2018, it increasingly pursued a policy of working more closely with China and developing infrastructure to create a north south economic corridor and expand trade with Central Asia. This didn't all pan out because Iran's economy is in bad shape. Iran and China moved toward a 25 year agreement, but little Chinese investment flowed into Iran...

Trump wants a new contractor in the war on Hezbollah. Syria doesn't want the job
Trump and Israel no longer see eye to eye on Lebanon. While the US president's new strategy resurfaces past traumas in Beirut, Syria's al Sharaa has made it patently clear that the age of Damascus intervening in Lebanese affairs is gone for good.
The president of the United States, in a moment of honesty and based on his experience as a real estate entrepreneur, presented his new plan for solving the war in Lebanon. "If Israel can't do the job without killing everyone else, he'll do the job, Syria will do the job," Donald Trump said on Tuesday, referring to Syrian President Ahmed al Sharaa, during a meeting with the Qatari prime minister at the G7 meeting in France...
"...in a moment of honesty," lol. The war on Hezbollah and Lebanon will continue. The war on Palestinians will continue. The war on Iran will continue. If "al Sharaa" won't do it, they'll kill him and find someone else.

— Note that Iran has not made any commitment not to enrich uranium. The absence of this commitment from the MoU is very telling.
In fact, Trump made several comments today that implied Iran would be allowed to continue enrichment at low levels (likely 3.67% for civilian use).
That would be extremely embarassing for the United States, considering that the official position during the Araqchi-Witkoff negotiations was ‘zero enrichment’ for 10-20 years.

G7 summit: Trump commands global stage with viral "I'm the boss" greeting
In a moment that quickly went viral online and exemplified his presence among world leaders, Trump confidently declared, "I'm the boss" before cordially greeting French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The bold assertion captured the signature, unapologetic style that has defined his "America First" foreign policy, signaling to both foreign dignitaries and audiences back home that the United States remains firmly in the driver's seat of international affairs.
To end the topic for now, I wanted to show you what OANN writes. This is what they discuss now, there's nothing about Iran on the main page. The imperial mouth pieces are cucking for the senior manager. That's what the war meant to the empire. Nothing. Just like Ukraine, which is also nothing to them. All they care about is maintaining the narratives and slowly marching on, as it does.

VICTORY: Trump secures reopening of strait that was open before war
In a sign of total and absolute victory, President Trump announced that he had secured the reopening of the vital Strait of Hormuz, which was open before the war that Trump started in Iran.
"...Anyways," continued Trump. "No one believed that we could open the Strait so easily. Everything is going to be so peaceful and prosperous like you wouldn't believe, all thanks to me. The Strait is now open the Trump way - beautifully and bigly. Nobody reopens straits better than me and nobody else could've got this done. Nobody." "Everyone is saying so." Trump reminded that the Ukrainians are fighting thanks to American weapons:
They [the Ukrainians] are doing well. Russia is a big country, a very large army, but they're doing quite well, they're staying afloat, they have excellent equipment—don't forget, it's our excellent equipment, but they're doing quite well.
[You're going to impose sanctions against Russia—what are you going to do about it? Sanctions against Russia, for example, canceling oil tax breaks.]
Yes, I can reintroduce them. I wanted to make sure oil prices stay as low as possible. Now that oil prices have dropped significantly—when you see these figures, when they drop significantly, I can reintroduce them, okay? Thank you.
President Trump is lying to himself and everyone else. It's he, Trump, and the US who are fighting against Russia, using the Ukrainian army as a proxy. In addition to weapons, the US is providing Ukraine with Starlink communications, high-speed internet, intelligence, and targeting data. The US has financed Zelensky and his Nazis with hundreds of billions of dollars. Economic sanctions against Russia are also a war against Russia. Trump thinks he's ended the war in Iran and has remembered Russia. US plans to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia are back on the table.

A joint G7 statement was issued in France, signed by Trump and other participating leaders. It confirms "continued backing for Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity," and expresses "support for civilians affected by ongoing strikes on infrastructure and cultural sites." The statement references recent battlefield developments and describes increased momentum in international assistance.
It outlines plans to "expand deliveries of air defense systems, interceptor missiles, and long range strike capabilities," alongside efforts to "scale up Ukraine's domestic arms production through licensing agreements."
Additional provisions include "reinforcement of Ukraine's energy system ahead of winter" and "continued financial and logistical assistance." The document also details an intention to "intensify economic pressure on Russia through expanded sanctions targeting the oil and gas sectors and other areas of strategic revenue."

Thing is, Zelensky's presidency ended in 2024. Ukraine's own military data list total personnel losses at 1,721,000 killed and missing, distributed as 118,500 in 2022, 405,400 in 2023, 595,000 in 2024, and 621,000 in 2025.
Intense combat is reported in the Kramatorsk Slavyansk agglomeration, particularly around Kostantinovka, where encirclement zones involve about fifteen thousand troops under conditions of supply shortages, including limited ammunition, food, water, and medical support. Operational strength in affected units is somewhere below one fifth, with replacement rates from mobilization painfully insufficient to offset losses.
There's no victory for Ukraine, only the scam. Everyone involved in making decisions about Ukraine are dead set on maintaining the scam for as long as possible. The US doesn't care about how many Ukrainians die. In fact, the more the better. Might as well be all of them. "A thousand hohols is worth one burning refinery in Russia."

Evacuations are ongoing from industrial areas in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, medical services are unable to adequately treat wounded personnel. Civilian populations are moving under evacuation orders that limit personal belongings, with displacement directed toward western regions. There's a large influx of refugees going towards Poland. There's more movement of residents from western regions due to pressure from incoming displaced populations.
Ukraine's male mobilization pool is described as reduced by half, with monthly conscription levels at 35,000 personnel. There's a massive concealment of casualty figures and widespread expansion of cemeteries due to overcrowding in multiple regions, including Kiev and Odessa. The cemeteries aren't being built just for the hell of it, after all. Daily casualties are still over 1,000.

I wanted to give you a relatively brief summary of the situation Ukraine finds itself in. It's nothing short of catastrophic. That's what Zelensky wants more money for. To maintain all of THAT.
The demographic collapse, the debt slavery that'll haunt the country for centuries (if it even still exists at end of it), the thousand dead per day, the booming cemetery business, the gradual but inevitable loss of territory, the complete loss of sovereignty... All of that.
That's what the $20 billion is for. And he will not stop there. Once he and his friends get even fatter on this stack of cash, he'll ask for more. None of this will end well for Ukraine and everyone knows it. But again, it doesn't matter to Zelensky or his backers how many Ukrainians die.
About a year ago, I outlined the best case scenario for Ukraine at the time. Now, a year later, the best case scenario is far worse. Regardless of how many Russian refineries are hit.
