Oil and gas supplies could take months to return to normal after Iran deal, energy experts say

High oil and gasoline prices and energy supply problems won't be solved overnight, despite an agreement to end the Iran war and open the Strait of Hormuz announced Sunday.

It will likely take months before energy companies can resume operations to the point of meeting the world's demand, according to energy experts. The slow pace of the process of shipping and refining crude oil, and doubts about the security of traveling through the strait mean the effect wonโ€™t be seen immediately, they said.

"Energy experts" to me is a bit like "economists." I've no idea what it means, what they do, and I don't remember any of them ever being right about anything, but I'm sure they are very experty experts. That being said, the Strait is closed again, so... Although, that might change again later today or tomorrow morning. Before it changes again the day after that.

Poland's "pain threshold" broke after Zelensky's tribute to Nazi collaborators - president

Karol Nawrocki has explained why he stripped the Ukrainian leader of his nation's top honor.

Zelensky broke Poland's "pain threshold" when he named a commando unit after a Ukrainian nationalist group implicated in the World War II killings of tens of thousands of Poles, Polish President Karol Nawrocki said on Saturday. The decision sparked outrage in Poland, where the massacres remain an open wound. Despite pressure from Warsaw to rename the unit, the Ukrainian leader has refused...

Oh man, one too many units named after "Nazi collaborators." The other 99 were fine bro, but 100?! You've GOT to be kidding me. Lol. Poland is such a dumb country. Which is a shame, because it's a real country. With actual roots and history. Not like many other European countries that are just made up nonsense. I guess that's what prostitution does to a place. That'll be 100 Zล‚oty there daaaaaarling.

โ€” ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท NEW: The Strategic Deputy of President Pezeshkian has issued an order that nightly pro-Islamic Republic rallies should end after Ayatollah Khameneiโ€™s burial ceremony in July, because they โ€˜threaten national cohesionโ€™

The reason? Very predictable. They know the Iranian population is against the current negotiations.

In the statement of the Strategic Deputy, it explicitly says:

โ€˜The gatherings could change the field dynamics towards creating blockages in the path of diplomacy.โ€™

โ€˜Some of these gatherings have turned into a lever to put pressure on the official structure (i.e. the government and negotiators)โ€ฆposting a serious obstacle to making strategic and expedient decisions at critical moments.โ€™

In other words, they want to use the people to protect the system during war time, but they donโ€™t want those same people to be on the streets and freely expressing their critical opinion against the Pezeshkian / Qalibaf / Araqchi negotiations.

Dear subscribers!

What a journey we've been on over the past couple of years... I went from zero subscribers to 25,500. Now, that isn't many, I'm still largely an irrelevant channel, but it's more than most. And it was only possible thanks to you all. So firstly, big thanks to all of you for being here.

Now, as I'm sure many of you noticed, I've been a bit tuned out lately. I was pretty honest about it. I've been unhappy with the direction the channel was going for a while. I've been contemplating taking it in a slightly different direction to bring a bit of spark back to it. And I will.

I don't want to scare you off. The content will remain largely the same, but I'll also discuss things I haven't discussed before - philosophy, theology, the grand strategy... I will also take partnerships in a different direction. I also want to change the aesthetics. Stick around! The channel will be better than it is now, I'm sure of it. The changes will be gradual, but noticeable.

And thank you all again!

โœ๏ธ "The Israel Lobby is still reeling from the backlash Israel faced over the genocide in Gaza and they're panicking over the prospect that Trump will cut-and-run from Iran, just as he did with the Houthis."

"They were expecting people to move on from Jewish issues as the Gaza war wound down but America going to war with Iran in defense of Israelโ€”then losing said warโ€”made everything exponentially worse."

My write-up on the 15-hour-long JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem, headlined by Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Mark Levin and Amb. Mike Huckabee.

Starmer's exit exposes dirty secret: UK can't afford Ukraine war

His Labour Party replacement faces the prospect that Britain's best bet is aligning with Trump to end the conflict.

...The resignation had been brewing for some time. While Starmer led the Labour Party to an astounding landslide election victory in July 2024, by September 2025, he was already being labeled the most unpopular prime minister since polling began; this followed a series of U turns and poorly handled crises. After heavy losses of council seats in local elections in May, the Labour Party moved quickly to remove him...

It's the beauty of the Ukraine war from the point of view of the empire, though - damage Russia, impoverish Europe. That's the whole point. And Starmer's replacement won't be any better in any aspect. His assumed successor already said his first trip would be to Israel. Nothing will change. Chances are, it'll only get worse. That's also the whole point. We cannot vote our way out of it.

Rep. Stuzman: I consulted Israelis before proposing defense measure

In an exclusive interview, the Republican lawmaker explains why it's time to transition from direct assistance to more US Israel "strategic cooperation."

...According to Stutzman, the proposal did not originate in Congress but rather from conversations with Israeli contacts who suggested moving away from the current aid framework and toward what he described as a trade agreement and defense partnership. "When a couple of folks from Israel floated the idea of going from the supplemental of $38 billion over 10 years to a trade agreement and defense agreement, we just continued to have those conversations," Stutzman said in an exclusive interview...

I'm really happy to see people increasingly asking themselves why seemingly random "lawmakers" have to "consult Israelis" before "proposing defense measures." Might it have something with the fact that he's bought? A shekel is a shekel.

The Trump-Meloni dust-up was pure "Euroslopulism"

As the Ukraine war rages on, European elites look as unserious as ever.

Trump has left an unusually large amount of drama in his wake after last week's G7 conference in Europe. The festivities seem to have culminated in a dust up between the president and Italy's prime minister - and one time Trump fangirl - Giorgia Meloni. The origins of the spat are still a bit mysterious, but it appears Meloni was trying to play the "outraged girlboss" with Trump in the hope that he would recommit to Europe's failing war in Ukraine. Trump responded by going to the Italian media and saying that Meloni was "begging" him to take a photo with him and that he "felt bad" for her. Meloni then had a very public and very histrionic meltdown in a video she appears to have self recorded for her X account...

Hahaha! Every once in a while, The American Conservative puts out an article like this and I forget all the bullshit they usually publish. Good one.

Anti Israel Democratic candidate for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani is continuing his outreach to Jewish voters ahead of the election, now less than a month away. After attending progressive synagogues on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Mamdani visited the sukkah of the Satmar Hasidic community in Brooklyn, where he received a warm welcome, despite the main faction's official endorsement of his rival, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo...

This is a YNetNews article from the end of last year. We've been over this. It's fake. It's all fake. Jews don't care. And yes, that's Mamdani sitting there wearing that tiny hat. So yeah, nah. I mean yeah, but nah.

In Trump's delusions of peace with Iran and efforts to bully Israel, dark echoes of appeasement

Desperate to end the war, he reassures nobody but himself that the regime in Tehran is new, nice and not at all radical, and turns up the heat on Israel for daring to raise inconvenient concerns about survival.

Giving you any more of this article would be misrepresenting it, as it kind of jumps all over the place. No matter which part I pick, it would be misleading to a degree. I recommend reading it in full. I must admit, this show is fun to watch. But let's remember that it is indeed just a show.

Trump says he "saved our country" at 250 rally. Other takeaways...

Trump hit on familiar themes that are staples of his political rallies, all while a military band played and fighter jets flew overhead.

...Trump highlighted anti transgender policies, praised immigration agents implementing his deportation push and promoted a preliminary peace deal with Iran during the June 24 rally, which marked the start of festivities leading up to the nation's 250th anniversary on July 4...

...Taking the stage soon after, the president lashed out at his predecessor in the Oval Office and declared that under the Trump administration, "we have reclaimed our sovereignty, regained our liberty, restored our prosperity and we have saved our country."

YEAH! He saved America! Nay, the world! And all you ungrateful bastards can do in response is call him a pedo. Lol. You just know there are all these people out there clapping and getting a boner as they listen to this slop.

Vance: Deconfliction mechanism will see Iran's Revolutionary Guards sit with US Army's CENTCOM

Gulf FMs say Iran's proxies, missiles must be addressed for "lasting" peace. Netanyahu touts war gains at IDF officers' ceremony, draws cheers and jeers from crowd. Iran: Israel must pull out entirely from Lebanon or be "forced to flee in defeat."

I don't know why, but I've been fascinated with Israeli media lately. It's like a wild forest where a different animal hides behind every tree. You open the internets on your computers and you never know which one of them you'll see! Anyway, I don't know how much truth there is here, but I wouldn't be surprised anymore.
