Netanyahu hopes his political harakiri will keep his bloc - and His Grip on Power - alive

The final week of the 25th Knesset was the prime minister's last chance to act like a proper statesman, but he sidelined bills enjoying a consensus in favor of legislation that Israelis simply detest. Sara Netanyahu's demand for lifetime security proves that she, too, can read the writing on the wall. Gadi Eisenkot's dangerous gamble...

There is no shortage of pigs willing and excited to do the same as Netanyahu. Even more. When comparing him to some other "politicians" from Israel, he seems to be the "cool guy" among them. The fact that he is so utterly horrible tells you all you need to know. As I always say, someone else will take his place in a heartbeat. The "system" (duuude) won't even notice he's gone. It'll march on.

"Ecology of healing": Israel's October 7 trauma victims say the system is failing them

Experts say Israel's war trauma system must evolve from disability ratings to rehabilitation. Will the next Knesset prioritize reform?

Israel's system for victims of hostile acts remains centered on proving the extent of a person's disability rather than helping them rebuild their lives, survivors, mental health experts and political representatives warned at a Tel Aviv conference on Sunday.

The conference was organized by 121 Engine for Social Change through two partnerships it leads: Or BaOfek ("Light on the Horizon"), which advocates for victims of hostile acts, and Tikva LaNefesh ("Hope for the Soul"), which focuses on mental health and resilience policy.

Yea, okay. The "next" Knesset will "prioritize" the exact same thing as this Knesset, which is terrorizing the region, genocide, and whining about anti semitism. The violin is getting smaller and smaller. Oy vey indeed.

Hegseth announces annual testosterone screenings, replacement therapies for US troops to operate at their "absolute best"

In a posted video to X , United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced a new military health initiative dubbed "High-T," which introduces mandatory annual testosterone screenings for active duty service members aged 30 and older.

Integrated directly into the military's existing periodic health assessments, the program aims to identify testosterone deficiencies and offer diagnosed troops the option to receive testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

Devastating Cuba: The American Empire is declining and is trying to drag everyone down with it

As Washington weakens, it is tightening the screws on Havana - using blockade, blackouts, and mass suffering to punish defiance.

Despite US attempts to sabotage and manipulate the event, the UN General Assembly has followed the request of the Cuban delegation to debate the "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba."

While this debate has been an annual event since 1992, this year its backdrop is particularly grim, as Washington has greatly escalated its longstanding economic warfare campaign against Havana. At the same time, the US has also threatened a military attack, which may or may not have been delayed by the US defeat in the war against Iran...

I still think people way overestimate just how much the US is "declining." I'm not saying we aren't declining, but guys, it'll take a while. Don't bet on it yet.

Why were they there?

Trump: Canada must control its wildfire pollution or face tariffs - "The cost is incalculable!"

"We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their Forests, and Brush therein, and the United States is being unnecessarily invaded by filthy, polluted, and unhealthy air, the quality of which is dangerous, and totally unacceptable!" Trump posted to Truth Social on Friday.

"I will call the Prime Minister during the day to find out what they are going to do about it," he asserted, referring to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. "The cost is incalculable!"

Funny to see the guy complain about "filthy air" considering all the shit he lets his corpo buddies get away with. But I agree with Trump, fuck them Canadians. Next, we should put tariffs on Ecuador for El Nino. They don't send us their best weather.

Iran's strikes on US sites in Jordan result in "dozens of casualties, destroyed helicopters"

Iran struck Washington's forces in Jordan four times within five days, US media revealed, as Tehran retaliated to new US strikes on Sunday.

"The Iranian attack that killed two US soldiers and left one service member missing on Friday was the fourth in five days on US forces in Jordan. Taken together, the attacks have wounded dozens of US service members and damaged a number of helicopters," officials told the outlet.

According to the report, Jordan's strategic importance increased significantly after Washington reportedly shifted troops and assets from Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE to Jordan and Israel, considering them relatively safer locations in the lead up to the war...

Did Israel want to assassinate US President Donald Trump?

Israeli intelligence services were preparing an assassination attempt against the sitting US President Donald Trump, who was due to fly out of Turkey after his visit to the country.

At the same time, as became known today, Turkish intelligence services found no signs that any assassination attempt against Trump was being prepared. Nevertheless, the reports from the Israeli side prompted US intelligence services to take additional security measures to protect Trump. In particular, this led to the president's aircraft being changed before his departure from Turkey.

Turkish leader ErdoฤŸan is currently one of Israel's most outspoken critics and of what he describes as its policy of genocide against neighboring states and peoples in the region. That is why Trump's trip to Turkey is like waving a red flag in front of a bull as far as Israel is concerned...

๐Ÿ’ฏ13โค3๐Ÿ‘€3๐Ÿ˜2๐Ÿ‘1๐Ÿคก1
...Netanyahu could hardly imagine anything worse, since he sees Trump as his puppet, moving in Israel's interests in whichever direction Netanyahu points him.

For Bibi Netanyahu, it is completely incomprehensible what Trump is doing in Turkey at all.

That is why, of course, the Turkish intelligence services were on high alert. It would have suited Israel if Trump had been killed in Turkey.

After all, even if Israeli intelligence had carried out the assassination themselves, they would, as always, in the spirit of Jewish chutzpah, have widened their eyes, loudly expressed outrage and indignation, and shifted the blame onto the Turkish intelligence services, accusing them of Trump's death...

PART 2

@americanmajority
๐Ÿ’ฏ15๐Ÿ‘3โค2๐Ÿ˜2
...On the other hand, the argument goes, since neither Israel nor the Turkish intelligence services were actually planning any assassination, Turkish investigators found no evidence or signs of such a plot. Israeli intelligence, however, supposedly had no trouble "finding" evidence of it - because, according to the author, those were traces of their own making.

And had Trump's security team not switched aircraft, who knows whether he would have reached his destination at all, or even managed to take off from the Turkish runway.

Trump, the author concludes, certainly needs to remain vigilant and cautious, but not because of Turkey's intelligence services. Rather, he should be wary of Israel's.

US Jews increasingly concealing their identities over rising antisemitism, survey shows

A majority of American Jews experienced antisemitism over the past year, with many changing their behavior out of fear, according to a survey released on Friday by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) ahead of the United States' 250th anniversary.

The survey, commissioned by CAM's Antisemitism Research Center, found that 57 percent of Jewish Americans reported experiencing antisemitism in the past year, equivalent to an estimated 3.3 million Jewish adults and approximately 250,000 Jewish children living in affected households...

Despite Trump's unpopularity, new poll shows tight race for Congress

As President Donald Trump faces near record low disapproval ratings, a new Washington Post Ipsos poll, conducted July 8-13, found that Democrats have a slim advantage over Republicans ahead of November's midterm elections.

Still, Democratic supporters are more motivated to vote. The WaPo Ipsos poll shows Democrats leading Republicans by 3 percentage points, 48% to 45%, two years after Kamala Harris' 2024 loss to Trump...

Whether you're a "Democrat," whatever you think that means, or a "Republican," whatever you think that means, my message is the same for you and has been the same for years. There's no paradise here. It doesn't matter. The system isn't broken. It's working exactly how it's supposed to. Unless it's Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton will save America.

German energy crisis caused by "lack of Russian gas" - Merz

...German industry has been hit particularly hard by soaring energy costs, which are now the third highest in the world after those in the UK and Japan. Once Europe's industrial powerhouse, Germany abandoned cheap Russian gas imports in 2022 while phasing out nuclear power in favor of renewables, driving up production costs and accelerating the decline of energy intensive industries. Moscow has repeatedly said it remains ready to resume gas deliveries through the remaining string of the Nord Stream pipeline, but the offer has received no response from Berlin...

The various executives of large companies aren't idiots. Remember those 8,000 jobs Volkswagen cut? Well, they didn't really "cut" them. I mean, they did, but in the EU. In reality, those jobs have been moved to China. China has all the cheap resources in the world. From Russia. Great strategy. And that's not sarcasm. It is great strategy. Just not for the average Hans.

US planning for wider war with Iran - WaPo

The White House is likely unaware it lacks the resources needed for an extended military campaign, an American official has told the paper.

...The warning comes as the Pentagon confirmed that at least four US service members had been killed after Iranian forces launched retaliatory strikes on American military facilities in the region. According to the New York Times, US forces were hit by Iranian missile and drone attacks several times over the past week, wounding dozens of troops and damaging several Black Hawk helicopters...

EU facing revolt over new Russia sanctions

Bloc members are increasingly refusing to back Brussels' proposals that threaten their own economic interests, the outlet has reported.

...Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Portugal all repordedly asked for changes, reflecting growing resistance to Brussels' sanctions attempts, as more member states balk at measures they believe would damage their own national economies and corporate interests.

Several rounds of talks last week failed to produce agreement on the EU's proposed 21st sanctions package targeting Russia's energy, financial, crypto, trade, and fisheries sectors. It would also ban Russians who have served in the military since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022 from entering the bloc...

I think the funniest thing about all these sanctions, apart from it doing more damage to the initiators, is the fact that so much can be circumvented using a free VPN. Like, any of them.

War Dept. identifies 2 fallen soldiers killed in Jordan by Iranian attack

The United States Department of War has identified the two soldiers who were killed in Jordan over the weekend while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve against Iran.

In a statement on Monday, the War Department said that 1st Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, died on July 18, 2026, and Private Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, passed on July 17, 2026, during an Iranian attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan, on Friday...

...These service members were the first United States military personnel to have fallen since the US agreed to a ceasefire with Iran in April and subsequently resumed military efforts this month...
