EU finds TikTok violates its digital rule book by failing to protect privacy of minors

...The action exposed children to cyberbullying, unwanted contact and predatory behavior, commission spokesperson Thomas Regnier said.

"Children's content must never be visible to strangers," he said. If TikTok does not take steps called for by the European Union's landmark Digital Services Act, "minors are exposed to predators, to grooming and to cyberbullying," Regnier said, adding that children aged 13 to 15 can "easily" change their accounts from private to public and the private accounts of minors aged 16 to 17 can be seen by anyone on the internet. "We do not accept this," Regnier said. "Putting default settings for minors is not a beauty contest under the DSA. It must be effective."

Oh, if only Epstein's victims had the divine protection of the EU as they were being kidnapped, trafficked, and raped by the same people who now talk about "protecting the privacy of minors."

The EU protects!

Confused by Trump's zigs and zags over Iran? Read his "Art of the Deal"

Everyone is confused about President Trump's Iranian strategy. Is his policy to seek the full blown devastation of Iran regime or to simply seek a compromised deal? Were the thirteen days of air attacks on Iran only pin pricks or devastating strategic hits?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

When I saw this headline, I thought to myself "noooo, surely they won't sink that low," as I suspected this is an advertisement for the book disguised as an article. But no, it actually is!!! "To understand all of this direction and misdirection, we should turn to Donald Trump's operational Bible: "The Art of the Deal...," the article says, with the book name being a hyperlink taking you to a website called INC dot com, which has its own hyperlink to Amazon. This is unbelievable. I mean, not literally that, I am willing to believe it, but more among the lines of "fucked up." Oh dear OANN, what are you even doing at this point. What a joke.

US-Saudi strikes in Iraq leave dozens of casualties across multiple PMU sites

The PMU condemned the attacks as a "dangerous escalation" after drone strikes on the kingdom that were already claimed by Yemen's Ansarallah.

...The strikes targeted PMU headquarters in Baghdad, Wasit, Nineveh, Basra, Kirkuk, Karbala, and Diyala, "resulting in varying degrees of material damage to a number of headquarters, vehicles, and military equipment," it added.

The government linked military force went on to say that "field work" was being done to further assess the damage, and that the toll of deaths and injuries could increase...

Netanyahu, Trump hold "excellent, Iran focused" meeting in Washington

The premier reportedly told Trump that there is "no choice" but to attack Iran again with heavier and more "significant" strikes.

Israeli Prime Minister and wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with US President Donald Trump in Washington on 28 July - with Hebrew media reports indicating that the premier lobbied for larger escalation against Iran.

In a statement, Netanyahu called the meeting "excellent" and said it was "one of the best conversations I've had with our friend, US President Trump."

"It was a meeting with full cooperation, with mutual support, with understanding on the joint goal that Iran won't have nuclear weapons, and also other goals," the premier added.

He also called it an opportunity to "exchange ideas, and also to coordinate on things that are important for the security and for the future of Israel."

A Muslim defense bloc takes shape - but on whose terms?

Four militaries are discussing a regional security framework, but their divisions may turn collective defense into another instrument of bloc politics.

In January, a proposal that had circulated quietly for nearly a year broke into the open. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye had prepared a draft defense agreement, and copies were under review in all three capitals.

The proposed arrangement would bring together three regional powers in an unprecedented defense partnership.

Just over two months after the trilateral draft became public, Egypt joined the foreign ministers of Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan in Riyadh on 19 March on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit for their first quadrilateral consultation...

There is zero chance this will happen except as an extension of the Judeo-American empire bloc, serving as plausible deniability.

Sorry bruh.

One more thing about that ad...

I am not "confused" about any of it. There is nothing "confusing" about it. What's so "confusing"? The only way one can be "confused" about it is if one genuinely believes Trump is trying to "save America" or whatever. At that point, it actually would appear extraordinarily "confusing." The second one drops the idolatry, however, things will stop being "confusing" very quickly.

And by "genuinely believe," I don't mean all the influencer shills. Their choice is to keep shilling or lose their livelihoods.

I get it. I harbor no ill will against them. Nor against the boomer. I get that also.

Apple announces users can now lease iPhones following new Klarna partnership

Apple customers in the United States will soon be able to lease iPhones for up to two years through the company's new partnership with buy now, pay later provider Klarna.

Just last month, the tech giant bumped up starting iPad and Mac prices by at least $100 - and over $1,000 for top tier models - blaming a global chip and memory shortage. With analysts predicting iPhone price hikes next, offering a lease option lets Apple pivot customer focus toward low monthly costs instead of intimidating retail prices.

Apple made the announcement in a press release on Tuesday, detailing that users can lease iPhones and Apple Watches for 12 or 24 months, while Mac and iPad leases can run for 24 or 36 months.

Launched in the US in 2015, Klarna is a popular financial technology service that allows shoppers to split online and in store purchases into flexible, monthly installments...

Staggering report finds 2025 was deadliest year for antisemitic attacks outside Israel since 1994

An alarming new report from the Anti Defamation League (ADL) has found that 2025 marked the deadliest year on record for antisemitic attacks since 1994...

...The organization said in a statement on Wednesday that 20 people were killed in antisemitic attacks in Sydney, Australia; Manchester, England; Washington, DC and Boulder, Colorado in 2025 - marking the deadliest year for Jews outside of Israel, according to the ADL.

The US has experienced a 131% increase in antisemitic incidents since 2021. Although total incidents declined significantly from 2024, the 6,274 antisemitic incidents recorded in 2025 included 203 physical assaults that affected 300 victims, the report said...

Fauci repeatedly invokes Fifth Amendment during Senate hearing on COVID-19 after public release of diary pages

Anthony Fauci, former White House chief medical adviser, repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid testifying during his appearance before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

At the end of his opening statement, Fauci, who served under President Donald Trump in his first term and former President Joe Biden, announced his intent not to answer any of the senators' questions based on the Fifth Amendment during the Wednesday hearing on COVID-19.

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) publicly released over the weekend more than a thousand pages of Fauci's private diary from the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fauci was subpoenaed by the committee, on which Paul serves as the chairman, to testify on Capitol Hill...

Trump: I warned Biden about Fauci, but he gave him "vast destructive power"

In a Truth Social post, President Donald Trump reaffirmed his belief that COVID-19 originated in a laboratory in Wuhan, China, saying former President Joe Biden gave Dr. Anthony Fauci "vast destructive power" during the pandemic, despite continuously warning Biden that the doctor "was no good."

"...Fauci was largely taken out of play, and then along came Sleepy Joe Biden, who made Fauci a "King!" I called Biden to tell him Fauci was no good, either didn't have a clue, or was dishonest. The call was well received, but sadly, not acted on. Biden went on to give Fauci vast destructive power. The rest is history!"

"Today, the Board of Peace reached a HISTORIC agreement for the COMPLETE DISARMAMENT of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY."

"...This is a major milestone in the implementation of the Trump 20 Point Plan. The agreement will be carried out in carefully structured phases. As disarmament is completed, Israeli forces will withdraw, and the International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian police force to take responsibility for Gaza being safe for its residents and its neighbors."

"One year ago there was a violent raging war, humanitarian crisis and hostages kept in brutal captivity. We have made historic progress and there is still much work to do."

"I want to thank the mediators - Egypt, Qatar, and Tรผrkiye - for their important efforts, and especially my outstanding team, whose tireless work made this historic breakthrough possible..."
