Trump admin. reveals potential new US Space Force uniforms inspired by "Starship Troopers" film

President Donald Trump revealed possible new uniforms for the United States Space Force, explaining that the designs were inspired by a well known classic science fiction film.

President Trump unveiled the potential new uniforms for the US Space Force on Sunday, drawing inspiration from the sci-fi cult classic "Starship Troopers." Sharing mock ups of the black and grey attire on Truth Social, the US Commander in chief noted that the designs were "inspired by the discipline of the Starship Trooper uniform" while being "modernized for the guardians of the space domain."

All we're missing now are space ships. But I'm sure scammers like Musk will sell a few to them. Not actual space ships, of course. But the plans will sound really cool, I'm sure. He'll then ask investors for money and never deliver shit. And by "investors" I mean the government. And by "money" I mean our taxes.

US warplanes damaged in Iranian strike on key airbase

Multiple US military aircraft were damaged in an Iranian strike on a key American airbase in Jordan, CBS reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The attack reportedly took place overnight on Tuesday and targeted Muwaffaq Salti Air Base near Azraq, about 100 km northeast of Amman, a major hub for US air operations in the region.

One A-10 Thunderbolt, known as the Warthog, suffered severe wing damage, while around eight F-15s were lightly damaged but returned to service, according to the report. No US personnel were killed.

US forces reportedly fired more than 30 Patriot interceptors during the attack. Jordan said it intercepted 18 Iranian missiles, with two falling in unpopulated areas and causing no casualties...

Heat not seen "for the last 100,000 years" - climate monitor

...August 2026 was 1.65C hotter than the 1850-1900 average, a period commonly used as the benchmark for temperatures before large scale industrial warming, Copernicus said on Thursday. It was the hottest August in records dating back to 1940 and effectively matched July 2023, the previous all time monthly high, with less than 0.01C separating them.

"Humans haven't seen temperatures as hot as today for, arguably, at least the last 100,000 years," Samantha Burgess of the European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasts, which oversees Copernicus, told AFP. Copernicus records extend back to 1940. Scientists use evidence including ice cores, tree rings, and corals to reconstruct temperatures further in the past...

I don't know man, I'm pretty sure the summer of 3,938 BC was hotter. I remember we had to keep air conditioning on all the time. Pff, 'twas really hot!

NATO chief says Hormuz mine clearance "not a NATO mission"

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on 10 September that the alliance is not conducting mine clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz, telling reporters during a visit to Berlin that the waterway lies beyond NATO territory, while individual member states assist the effort alongside the US.

"This is outside NATO territory. Of course, we are monitoring what is happening, and NATO countries are closely coordinating their actions. There is an important Franco British initiative. Some countries, for example Latvia, Lithuania, and others, are taking an active role," Rutte said in video remarks carried by AP.

"They are not putting their people at risk, but they are helping, for example, with demining. Everything is taking place in cooperation with the United States. It is not a NATO mission, but we are monitoring and helping wherever possible," he added...

White House advisors warn Trump war on Iran could outlast his presidency

...According to the report, US Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and other officials have cautioned Trump that Iran may continue resisting US economic and military pressure, potentially prolonging the war beyond the January 2029 presidential inauguration.

Trump has promised a swift victory over Iran dozens of times since launching the war in late February, telling reporters on Thursday that it will end "immediately" after the November midterm elections "because they canโ€™t hold out any longer."

Yes, it will outlast his presidency. But it's not a "Trump war." It's an imperial war. The war against Russia will also outlast him. The war against China, too. Trump is just a muppet who was given the opportunity to sell all these wars to idiots for a bit while scamming his cult members for as much money as possible. He is nothing. It's not a "Trump war." It never was. It never will be.

German state could face EU fund freeze after AfD win

...Saxony-Anhalt is set to receive โ‚ฌ2.95 billion ($3.43 billion) from the EU's 2021-2027 budget, to fund projects ranging from school and daycare renovations to modern medical equipment for hospitals. According to ARD, it gets more EU regional funding per capita than any other German state.

According to Green MEP Daniel Freund, the scheme could soon be suspended if the AfD forms a regional government and upsets Brussels in any way. The lawmaker described the right wing party as a political group that acts against "the European project," adding that "if necessary, the European Commission would have to withhold funds..."

Gaza hospitals ration electricity as Israeli siege leaves generators without oil, spare parts

Gaza is suffering from shortages of fuel, engine oil, and spare parts that threaten the functioning of basic municipal services, especially hospitals, due to the ongoing Israeli siege on the devastated strip.

Gaza has been without grid electricity since the start of Israel's genocide of Palestinians in 2023. In addition to mercilessly bombing Gaza, Israel halted electricity supplies and restricted the import of fuel and engine oil as part of a collective punishment campaign aimed at the around 2 million Palestinians in the strip.

Those restrictions have remained in place despite a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas brokered by the US in October 2025. Ahmed al-Nabris, an internal medicine specialist at Nasser Hospital, told Reuters that fuel shortages have forced the hospital to rotate power cuts between buildings...

Saudi crude production plummets to lowest level since 1990 amid US war on Iran

Saudi Arabia's crude oil production collapsed to 6.24 million barrels per day in August, marking its lowest output level since 1990, as the ongoing US war on Iran and regional maritime disruptions severely hampered energy exports.

According to OPEC data released today, the kingdom's output plummeted by roughly 1.9 million barrels per day from July. The sharp reversal occurred despite planned increases by OPEC+ producers, driven by mounting blockades on critical export corridors across the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea.

That alternative route faced intense pressure after Yemen's Ansarallah movement declared a maritime embargo on Saudi Arabia in July, targeting energy infrastructure and shipping lanes.

The resulting blockades sent Red Sea loadings plunging to multi-month lows, tightened global crude supplies, and pushed Brent crude above $100 per barrel.

"We must save America": Cruz's fiery Midterm Convention speech calls out communists and Islamists sweeping through the Democrat party

...In his fiery speech at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Thursday, Cruz criticized far left ideologues and their growing influence over the Democrat party, stating that radical communists and Islamists share common targets: Christians, Jews, capitalism, the US Constitution and the US.

"Hear me now: Sharia law has no place in America," the senator said. "Sharia law is fundamentally inconsistent with the Constitution, and we need to stand together and stop it now."

Bashing communism, Cruz shared his family's personal history with the ideology, explaining that his father left Cuba more than 60 years ago and was grateful to find a home in Texas. However, he said his father asked him the question when he was a boy, "If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?"

Very impressive speech for the average retarded boomer.

Trump denies claims of US military aircraft damaged in Iranian strikes in Jordan

President Donald Trump denied reports that several United States military aircraft were damaged after Iran launched missiles against US forces based in Jordan.

The US commander in chief said there was "no truth" to the claim during an interview with NewsNation's Robert Sherman.

When Sherman asked for confirmation that there was "no truth to that," Trump responded, "None whatsoever. No damage. No nothing." The president's assertion follows reporting that multiple US aircraft were damaged following an Iranian attack on a base in Jordan...

"Fomin, why did the Deputy Chairman see graphite on the roof?" For all their fake, boomer oriented drama about communism, it's funny just how much we resemble the Soviet Union. Minus all the benefits of the actual Soviet Union.

Trump says war on Iran will end after midterms, claims US is holding back full assault

US President Donald Trump admitted during a Fox News interview that Washington is deliberately withholding a full scale military onslaught against Iran to safeguard political leverage ahead of the 3 November midterm elections.

Trump went on to dismiss any notion of strategic remorse over the ongoing US aggression, stating that he would repeat every action taken and predicting the war will wrap up shortly after the polls close. He also brushed off reports that the confrontation could stretch until the end of his term as inaccurate.

Defending the current scale of aggression while acknowledging that Iran retains a missile inventory, Trump claimed the military campaign successfully dismantled Iranian nuclear ambitions that he alleged posed an existential threat to regional stability.

You'll also get those checks we promised you right after those midterms, goy. Just vooooote hard.

AI has over 10% chance of killing all humans within decade - Anthropic researcher

...Evan Hubinger, who works on aligning advanced AI systems with human interests, made the assessment after fellow Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon resigned over fears that leading tech companies are racing toward systems they may not be able to keep in check.

"We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans," Hubinger wrote on X on Wednesday. "I personally think it is >10% within the next decade." He added that Anthropic is "trying its best" but still does not have a plan for safely controlling superintelligence and is "not clearly on track" to find one...

Every once in a while, you get a random dude on a random podcast saying something like this and then all of mass media goes "omg he's a computer guy he sure knows his stuff." Over 10%, hey? Okay. Why not 9%? Or 18%. Or 5%. Or 42.13%. How did Evan establish the probability? Based on what? Based on all the previous cases of AI killing all humans?

Saudi Arabia has halted operations on the East-West oil pipeline, according to Sky News, citing a representative from the country's Ministry of Energy.

It is reported that the oil pipeline was subjected to widespread attacks.

One source at CNN stated that drones launched from Iraq may have been used in the attack.

This pipeline is used by Saudi Arabia to redirect approximately 5 million barrels of oil per day after the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Pezeshkian urges BRICS to form "permanent secretariat," independent payment mechanisms

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has urged BRICS members to push back against unilateral sanctions and to establish a "permanent secretariat" in an address to the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Tasnim News Agency reported on 11 September.

The bloc currently runs on a chairmanship that rotates between member states each year, with no standing institution behind it. A permanent secretariat would give BRICS a fixed headquarters and a full time staff to carry its agenda forward year round.

"To enhance efficiency and accelerate the implementation of BRICS decisions, measures such as resisting unilateral sanctions, transforming competition into cooperation, and establishing a permanent secretariat are necessary," the president said...

Trump on trip to Ireland: I'd "love to see" Ireland unified

...The president landed in Dublin early on Saturday, disembarking from Air Force One to be greeted by Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris. He then traveled to the Farmleigh estate, where he spoke with Taoiseach (meaning the prime minister or head of government) Micheรกl Martin.

"I don't want to cause any problems, but I will tell you, I'd love to see it unified. I have friends on both sides, great people. They're Irish people. How can they be bad, right?" Trump told reporters during his meeting with Martin. "I'd like to see a unified country. I think it would be a great feather in everybody's cap if that happened. It's going to happen eventually. Up to 4% of global oil supplies could be taken off the market due to the shutdown of the Saudi East-West oil pipeline, according to Reuters.

Following the drone attack, the pipeline, which transports approximately 4 million barrels per day to the Yanbu port on the Red Sea, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, has been shut down.

At the current export rate, the oil reserves in Yanbu are sufficient for approximately 5-7 days. After that, Saudi Arabia will have to reduce its supplies unless the pipeline operations resume.

Ukraine is running out of money again - and the EU is asking questions

Officials in the bloc are reportedly "unsettled" by Kiev's defense budget hole ballooning almost fourfold within several months.

...Kiev's plea for more money "surprised and unsettled" European officials, the New York Times reported...

Okay bro. So imagine you had a dipshit cokehead friend and he kept asking you for money. You kept giving it to him and the money kept disappearing somewhere. How "unsettled" would you be by it? I mean, unless you're a complete moron, you'd probably just assume the dipshit cokehead friend was spending the money on dipshit cokehead things. Right? I don't think it would take the average person that long to assume that, either...

I never stop being amazed with RT's constant need to whitewash West's crimes. I didn't share it, but they literally wrote an article the other week trying to excuse the US massacring that wedding in Iran. It's so bizarre.
