Fire destroys Hitler's "Eagle's Nest' mountain retreat

The Eagle's Nest mountainous retreat built for Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler in the Bavarian Alps has been devastated by a blaze, the German police have said. The former tea house for the leader of the Third Reich, which was constructed on the peak of the Obersalzberg in southern Germany in 1938, sits at an altitude of 1,834 meters (6,000 feet).

A fire alarm at the Eagle's Nest went off on Friday evening, and it was completely engulfed in flames by the time emergency services arrived, the police said. The high elevation complicated the work of some 200 fire fighters, who were only able to extinguish the blaze on Saturday morning, they added. "It is damaged to a large extent. The house is unlikely to be saved," a police spokesperson told Bild tabloid.

Kremlin confirms trilateral peace talks with US, Ukraine in Abu Dhabi

Trilateral talks involving Russia, the US, and Ukraine are scheduled for Abu Dhabi in November to discuss a solution to the war, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on 23 October, amid ongoing missile and drone attacks from both sides.

Peskov noted that it has not yet been determined whether European nations will also participate in the talks. "Nothing can be ruled out in advance. But the talks we are discussing, which are scheduled for the first half of November in Abu Dhabi, will be held in a trilateral format," Peskov said...

Trump threatens Cuba "stopover" after Iran as Rubio urges collaborators to work with CIA

US President Donald Trump renewed his threat to topple Cuba's government while speaking to supporters at a rally in Florida on 24 October. "We'll do a little stopover," Trump said. "Actually, what we're going to do with Cuba is, we're going to come back from Iran. Those beautiful ships will pass Cuba. We'll have one of them stop about 50 yards off the coast. They'll raise up their hands. And then we're going to send Marco Rubio in to finish up the deal."

Shortly after the rally, State Secretary and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio urged Cubans to betray their country and collaborate with the CIA. "Now is the time" for action on Cuba, Rubio posted on social media, telling Cubans "to seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discreet partnership with the CIA."

The imperial wars of aggression will never end unless the empire is forced to stop.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช This week hackers stole around 420,000 emails from AfD politicians.

Party representatives confirm that hackers attacked a hosting provider at the end of September and condemn the leak as "an attack on the German party system and therefore on democracy itself."

WELT journalists analyzed Alice Weidel's old emails, and what they discovered is very interesting and shows who she is.

In October 2015, Weidel warned her colleagues that the party's proximity to Pegida, an anti-Islam street movement, and to the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party of Germany (now known as The Homeland) was alienating the conservative voters the party needed to attract.
"In the west we are completely losing the mainstream conservative electorate through our proximity to Pegida, and in the east through our proximity to the NPD," she wrote.

Weidel also strongly opposed a speech by Bjรถrn Hรถcke from the same year in which he contrasted a "life-affirming African expansionary type" with a "self-negating European placeholder type."
"This is deeply problematic, because the reasoning here is racial. It is fundamentally wrong," she wrote to the AfD's federal executive board.

In another message, she warned that extremists were deliberately blurring the boundary between the AfD and neo-Nazi politics, driving mainstream conservatives away "in horror."

She also feared that Hรถcke's rhetoric could expose the party to scrutiny by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the domestic intelligence service monitoring threats to the constitutional order.
"Hรถcke's statements alone and the use of the term Volksgemeinschaft" โ€” the Nazi-era concept of an ethnic national community โ€” "are enough to land the AfD in that report," she wrote, referring to the intelligence service's annual assessment. "Some in our party seem in a hurry to drive the AfD, deliberately or not, into oblivion."

The leak also includes emails about Hรถcke's January 2017 speech to the AfD's youth wing, in which he attacked Germany's culture of Holocaust remembrance.
Hรถcke described Berlin's Holocaust memorial as a "memorial of shame," criticized the country's efforts to confront its Nazi past and demanded a "180-degree turn in the politics of memory."

Weidel herself filed a motion to expel him from the AfD.
The motion, obtained by WELT, accused Hรถcke of using "vocabulary from Adolf Hitler" and endorsing the "Fรผhrerprinzip" โ€” the Nazi doctrine of absolute leadership authority. It described him as displaying an "affinity in essence with National Socialism."

In May 2017, she condemned an AfD election poster featuring a pregnant woman with the slogan "'New Germans?' We'll make our own" as a Nazi poster.

6 Million Barrels in Two Minutes Draws CFTC Scrutiny

Oil traders sold futures equivalent to at least 6 million barrels of crude in just two minutes on March 23, shortly before President Donald Trump backed away from threats to strike Iranian power plants. Now, the federal regulator overseeing those trades says it has been looking into the activity.

Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Michael Selig said Friday that the agency's enforcement division has been examining oil trading during the Iran war, including the unusual surge preceding Trump's announcement.

"Our enforcement division has been looking at all these trades," Selig told Bloomberg Television. "We take this stuff very seriously."

The March 23 selling involved Brent and West Texas Intermediate futures. Trading volume during the two-minute window was more than 8.5 times the volume recorded during the same period over the preceding week, according to Bloomberg.

The timing has raised questions about whether some traders had advance knowledge of Trump's plans.

Egypt authorizes "defensive" military support for Saudi war on Yemen

Following a closed door session convened under Article 152 of the Egyptian Constitution, lawmakers voted to grant executive clearance to bolster air defense systems, deploy military assets, and help secure critical infrastructure across Saudi Arabia, upon request.

Reports published by Al Arabiya Egypt confirmed that the parliamentary vote grants Cairo the formal legal framework to execute joint security measures requested by Riyadh.

The approval follows a recommendation from Egypt's National Defense Council. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el Sisi had asked parliament last week to authorize the country's armed forces to defend Saudi Arabia from the large scale retaliatory operations launched against the kingdom by the Asnsarallah led Yemeni Armed Forces.

Pentagon preparing for "major war" - Fox News

Major military bases in the continental US will be expected to sustain essential operations for at least 90 days without external support under a new Pentagon strategy, Fox News has reported.

The autonomy target was set out in FORTRESS documents reviewed by the network, it said on Sunday. Critical military supplies would also require at least two qualified supply or production routes to guard against disruption.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced the initiative last month. The US military has faced serious logistical disruption in the Middle East following Iranian strikes on American facilities and other sites used by US forces in retaliation for the US Israeli attack on Iran...

Iran holds four-way "security meeting" with Mecca Pact states

The meeting coincides with a brutal Saudi war against Yemen and reports of an imminent US Israeli escalation against Iran. Tehran has framed the talks as a "practical step" toward "endogenous security" in the region.

The meeting included Iranian Supreme National Security chief Mohsen Rezaei, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani army chief Asim Munir, and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was also present. Tasnim News Agency confirmed earlier reports that Pakistan had proposed the four way meeting.

"Discussions covered regional security, the consequences of US Israeli military aggression against Iran and its continuation, as well as efforts to assist the people of Palestine and Lebanon," the outlet reported.

"At least we aren't in NATO..."

I got a message yesterday from an enthusiastic aspiring political scientist with strong opinions, who wanted to debate me about NATO. Now, I don't usually talk to random people who message me, but I felt this one will be worth it. And I was right. Eventually, we got to a point when we started talking about his country, Norway. After a series of exceptionally grandiose statements, he said "...at least we aren't in NATO."

WAS?! Warten Sie bitte! You definitely are bro. In fact, Norway is a founding member of NATO. That's where I realized talking to this person isn't worth my time. Not that there weren't red flags before this point, but hey, I guess I was in a good mood.

So why am I telling you all of this? While this is an extreme example, I see this all the time. Many people have strong opinions about things they know nothing about. If you want to be taken seriously by anyone, you should probably learn something about the topic you want to cover.

On October 23, 2026, the US government declassified a number of previously classified Pentagon documents concerning UFOs. Among the files is a 60-page report titled "Investigation at the Utah Ranch," which details frightening accounts of alleged werewolves. The investigation was initiated by reports of frequent sightings of mysterious lights and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) in the region.

The investigation was conducted in March and April 2010 by Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS). BAASS was a private contractor hired for government-funded research into unidentified phenomena. The study was conducted near Fort Duchesne in the Uinta Basin in the state of Utah, next to the famous "Skinwalker Ranch."

A local task force was established in the state of Utah to investigate residents' reports of unusual creatures on the territory of Fort Duchesne. Since the region was already known for alleged paranormal phenomena, the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), operating through the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), engaged BAASS to conduct the investigation.

BAASS interviewed more than twenty-five eyewitnesses. Among those interviewed were several local police officers, the director of the local fish and wildlife service, 11 Native Americans, and 15 members of the Mormon church. These witnesses described the unusual creatures as standing vertically, with black-gray fur. One of the creatures reported was estimated to be approximately 1.80 meters tall and weigh about 113 kg. It also had a head resembling that of a German shepherd, but with a more human-like nose.

A local resident who reported seeing the creature being chased by dogs said it moved at the speed of a falling star. According to one account, the creature repeatedly collided with barbed wire and emitted an unnatural howl. The witness stated that in response, coyotes nearby began to howl.

Despite the descriptions of paranormal phenomena provided by local residents, analysis of the evidence found at the scene produced ordinary biological results. The most concrete physical evidence came from a resident who claimed his dogs chased a "werewolf" through barbed wire. BAASS staff found fur samples caught on the barbs of the fence. DNA testing confirmed that the fur samples had a dog DNA sequence matching a sample from a domestic dog living on the property. Other samples matched raccoon DNA.

Ultimately, the report did not confirm the existence of werewolves.

Finally, the important news!

Trump offers $1M reward for voter fraud tips leading to arrest and conviction

...In a post published on Truth Social, the president specified that the proposed financial payout applies to allegations involving both previous elections and the upcoming midterm elections.

However, the brief announcement did not provide operational details regarding how the financial incentive would be funded, administered, or verified by federal authorities.

"Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!" Trump said.
