When I started using pen in my primary 3 class, each time i made a mistake, I would try hard to erase it before submitting to my teacher.
Sometimes, I used chalk to clean my mistake but it later re-appeared.
So I began to use saliva, it worked, but only to leave holes on my books.
My teachers then used to beat me for being outrageously dirty. But all I tried to do was to cover my error.
One day, a kind hearted teacher who loved me so much called me aside and he said, " Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on" .
He said further " Trying to erase your mistakes would only damage your book to nothing.
I told him in protest that I don't want people to see my mistake.
My loving teacher laughed and said " Trying to erase your mistake will make more people know about your mistakes/mess and the stigma is for life".
Have you made some mistakes in life? Cross it over and move on.
Don't expose yourself as a result of trying to cover your mistakes.
Mistakes are part of life passage.
Better things are ahead of you.
Move on please.......
Do have a wonderful day.

*Reflect on this*
During a brutal study at Harvard in the 1950s, Dr. Curt Richter placed rats in a pool of water to test how long they could tread water.
On average they'd give up and sink after 15 minutes.
But right before they gave up due to exhaustion, the researchers would pluck them out, dry them off, let them rest for a few minutes - and put them back in for a second round.
In this second try - how long do you think they lasted?
Remember - they had just swam until failure only a few short minutes ago...
How long do you think?
Another 15 minutes?
10 minutes?
5 minutes?
No!
*60 hours!*
That's not an error.
That's right! 60 hours of swimming.
The conclusion drawn was that since the rats BELIEVED that they would eventually be rescued, they could push their bodies way past what they previously thought possible.
*Reflection*
If hope can cause exhausted rats to swim for that long, what could a belief in ourselves and our abilities, do for us?
*I'll leave you with that thought to ponder*. 😊
