I'd take this with a truckload of salt. There's no mention of the $30 trillion debt that America is drowning in - Venezuelan oil and other natural resources can cut this in half allowing the empire to buy some time and continue its war on Russia. Also, when they bomb Iran again, the straits of Hormuz will be shut and America will lose access to Gulf oil so they need to have a replacement so they can continue supporting Israel and Ukraine.

The US needs Venezuelan oil as collateral for it's enormous debt.
