Yesterday marked the 52nd anniversary of the death of Charles Augustus Lindbergh.
Born 4 February 1902
Died 26 August 1974
He was an American aviator, military officer, author, inventor, and activist. He is one of the best-known figures in aeronautical history, remembered for the first nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. Before the United States entered World War II, Lindbergh was an advocate of non-interventionism.
While in Europe, Lindbergh was invited by the governments of France ๐ซ๐ทand Germany๐ฉ๐ช to tour the aircraft industries of their countries. Lindbergh was especially impressed with the highly advanced aircraft industry of Germany. In 1938, Hermann Goering, presented Lindbergh with a German medal of honor, he also received the Order of the German Eagle with Star on 18 October 1938. Lindbergh's acceptance of the medal caused an outcry later in the United States. Lindbergh and his family returned to the United States in 1939.
Lindbergh spent his last years on the Hawaiian island of Maui, where he died of cancer (lymphoma) on August 26, 1974, at age 72. He was buried on the grounds of the Palapala Ho'omau Church in Kipahulu, Maui.

Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip killed four Palestinians and wounded several others, including children, on Thursday, according to Quds News Network.
Israeli aircraft targeted civilian areas, hitting tents sheltering displaced families in northern Al-Mawasi, a bicycle near the Al-Sinaa Junction, and residential homes in Khan Yunis and the Shati refugee camp.
Among the dead were Azzam Rifaat al-Abadla, who was killed when his tent was bombed, and Bilal al-Ruqai, who died during an attack on a home in Al-Shati refugee camp.
Concurrently, occupation forces shot and wounded a child east of Hamad City, while naval forces opened fire along the Khan Yunis coast and artillery units shelled areas across northern and eastern Gaza.
The latest casualties come amid an ongoing intensification of air, naval, and ground bombardment targeting densely populated zones and displacement shelters throughout the besieged enclave.

Contrary to CENTCOM and his claims, the Strait of Hormuz is completely off limits to US forces with its Navy forced to remain at least 400km away in the Sea of Oman.
US command can wish all they want and fantasize about controlling waterways and other territories, but it does not change reality.
