On this day 5 years ago, six Palestinian prisoners from #Jenin broke out of their cells and won their freedom after digging a tunnel using primitive tools beneath “Gilboa” Prison, one of the most heavily fortified prisons in the occupation’s prison system — a massive slap in the face to the occupation regime’s security apparatus.
The six prisoners were:
Zakaria Zubeidi — released in a prisoner exchange
Mohammed al-Arida — released in a prisoner exchange
Mahmoud al-Arida — released in a prisoner exchange
Aiham Kamamji — released in a prisoner exchange
Yaqub Qadri — still detained
Minadhel Infi’at — still detained
The six prisoners were:
