On nuclear issues: He insisted Iran does not seek nuclear weapons but demanded the right to peaceful nuclear technology, accusing Washington of double standards since Israel is widely believed to possess nuclear bombs but is not an NPT party.

On Gaza: He accused Israel of genocide and alleged over 80,000 civilians killed.

During his speech, as Pezeshkian criticized the US and Israel, an American diplomat left the assembly hall, like a coward.
