Al-Houthis is one family whose name has been misappropriated to the entire Ansarullah movement 🆒

They are not rebels, they are the government which sits in the capital Sana'a and 90% of the population lives within the territory they control including nearly all of the habitable land of Yemen.

🆒Ansarullah holds power and has jurisdiction over the part of Yemen that matters.
Only Aden and the southwestern coast falls outside of their control and under the Saudi client regime whose president doesn't even reside there but rather in a hotel in Riyadh 🇸🇦

🇾🇪 This leaves the vast eastern region which although covers more than 50% of Yemen, it is for the most part unliveable desert with little to no resources, hosting only 5% of the population which is scattered in small settlements.
