قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

[ إذا أدركتَ ركعةً من الجُمعةِ فأضفْ إليها أُخرى ، فإِذا فاتَك الركوعُ فصلِّ أربعاً ].

حديث صحيح رواه ابن أبي شيبه.

The Prophet (PBUH) said,

"If you catch one rak'a from the Friday prayer, then add another one, but if you miss all rak'a then pray four (rak'a).''

Narrated by son of Abi Shaybah.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :

[ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَكْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ يُخَوِّفُ اللهُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ كُسُوفًا فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ حَتَّى يَنْجَلِيَا. ]

رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيْ و مًسلِمٌ.

The Prophet (PBUH) said:

{The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone nor for his life,
But they are from the signs of Allah, Allah frightens His worshippers with them,
So if you see an eclipse then remember Allah until they clear away}

عن ابن عَبَّاسٍ رضي الله عنْهُما أَنَّ رسُولَ الله صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم كَان يقُولُ عِنْد الكرْبِ :

( لا إِلَه إِلاَّ الله العظِيمُ الحلِيمُ ،
لا إِله إِلاَّ الله رَبُّ العَرْشِ العظِيمِ ،
لا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله رَبُّ السمَواتِ ، وربُّ الأَرْض ، ورَبُّ العرشِ الكريم ).

رواه البخاري و مسلم .

☀ Hadith of the day ☀

[ 2- Supplication at time of distress ]

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said,

{ The Prophet (PBUH) used to say when he was in distress,

" None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the Incomparably Great, the Compassionate. the most Lineant. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Honorable Throne." }

Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim

[ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ عَلَيَّ صَلاَةً. ]

أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِي = أخصَّهم بي وأقرَبُهم منِّي وأحَقُّهم بِشفاعتي.

The prophet (PBUH) said,

"The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

{ إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ:
يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي امْلأْ صَدْرَكَ غِنَىً ، وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ ، وَإِلاَّ تَفْعَلْ مَلأْتُ صَدْرَكَ شُغْلاً ، وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ. }

حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ أحمد.

The Prophet (PBUH) said,

{ Allah the Almighty says:
"O son of Adam, devote yourself to My worship,
And I will fill your heart with contentment and take care of your poverty; But if you do not do that, Then I will fill your heart with worldly concerns and will not take care of your poverty."}

Narrated by Ahmed.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
{ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا ، فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا ، وَإِنْ كَتَمَا وَكَذَبَا مُحِقَتْ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا. }

رواه البخاري ومسلم.

The Prophet (PBUH) said,

{ The two merchants still have a choice (to go through or cancel their deal) as long as they did not go apart, Then if they were truthful and divulged (fact about the goods and deal) then their sale will be blessed, And if they concealed and lied, then the blessings of their sale will be abolished. }

Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

{ إنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُحرَمُ الرِّزقَ بالذَّنبِ الَّذي يُصيبُه. }

حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ ابن حبان.

The Prophet (PBUH) said:

"A man may be deprived of provision by a sin that he commits."

Narrated by Ibn Hebban.

عَنْ أُمِّ المؤمنين أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ حِينَ يُسَلِّمُ

{ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً. }

حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ ابن ماجه.


The mother of the believers Um Salamah said, the prophet (PBUH) used to say after his morning prayer,

"Oh God, I ask you useful knowledge, And good sustainance, And acceptable deed."

Narrated by Ibn Majah.
