The team behind Hamster Kombat has shared exciting plans to re-engage first-season players and attract a wave of new participants.

While a dip in activity was anticipated after the first season, the developers are celebrating a major achievement: retaining a core community of over 30 million dedicated players who continue to stay involved with the game.

"With a seasonal format, fluctuations in activity are part of the process, so we expected this lull," a spokesperson noted. "Right now, we’re in a preparatory phase as we work toward the launch of season two. Even during this downtime, our monthly active user count (MAU) remains above 30 million, which is a testament to the game’s enduring popularity."

The team is now doubling down on efforts to reconnect with early players while also expanding their reach to new audiences. "We’ve crossed the milestone of 11 million token holders, putting us in a strong position among the top blockchains. Moving forward, our focus will be on growing HMSTR ownership and exploring new market opportunities," the representative said.
