Students of Amity University Tashkent visited Global Textile on October 28 as part of an Industry Visit 🧡

Global Textile is a leading cotton-textile cluster covering every stage of production, from growing cotton to finished garments. Founded in Tashkent in 2018, it has grown into one of the largest textile clusters in Central Asia.

During the visit:

🏭 Students explored the production facilities and followed the full cycle, from raw cotton to finished clothing
πŸ”— Learned how vertical integration works in practice: a continuous production cycle, full batch traceability, and a single quality management system (QMS) at every stage
🀝 Understood why this model matters for B2B customers, who get one reliable partner instead of many separate suppliers
🌍 Gained insight into Uzbekistan’s growing textile industry and the standards needed to compete in international markets

✨ The visit gave students practical exposure to real-world manufacturing, quality management and supply chain operations, helping them connect classroom knowledge with industry practice
