Introduction
➖Based on the presence and absence of antibodies, the blood is classified into different groups.
➖Further, while classification, the presence and absence of the inherited antigenic substances also considered.
➖The types of blood groups are inherited and represent contributions from both the father and the mother.

✍️ABO Blood Group System
➖In human blood, usually, there are two antigens and antibodies.
➖The two antigens are antigen A and antigen B.
➖The two antibodies are antibody A and antibody B.
➖The antigens are remaining in the red blood cells, whereas the antibodies are found in the serum.
➖Based on the antigen property, the blood group of all human beings can be classified as −
➭ Blood Group A − antigen A and antibody B
➭ Blood Group B − antigen B and antibody A
➭ Blood Group AB − antigen A and antigen B and no antibody
➭ Blood Group O − no antigen, but antigen A as well as antibody B
➖Consideration of the ABO system is the most imperative while transfusion of human blood.
➖The ABO blood group systems were first discovered by Karl Landsteiner in 1901.

✍️Rh Blood Group System
➖The Rh system (the meaning of Rh is Rhesus) is another significant blood-group system. It is very important to match Rh system while blood transfusion.
➖Rh antigen first studied in Rhesus monkeys; therefore, its name is given Rh factor/system.
➖The person who does not have Rh antigen is known as Rh negative (Rh-ve) and the person who has the Rh antigen is known as Rh positive (Rh+ve).

➖Proteins, which are basically biomolecules, play wide range of functions in the body of a living organism.
➖Proteins are made up of tiny elements of different types of amino acids.
➖A sequence of amino acid residues in a protein is known particularly by the sequence of a gene; gene is encoded in the genetic code.
➖After formation, proteins exist for a fixed period of time and are then degraded and recycled.
➖The proteins get recycled by the cell's machinery by the process of protein turnover.
➖Most of the proteins contain linear polymers made up of series of up to 20 different L-α-amino acids.
➖The amino acids in a polypeptide chain are connected by peptide bonds.
➖The peptide bond, usually, has two resonance forms, which contribute some double-bond characters.

✍️Protein Structure

➖Most of the proteins illustrate unique 3-dimensional structures.
➖However, proteins have not a rigid structure, but rather, proteins may vary between several related structures especially when they perform their functions.

✍️Types of Protein

➖Enzymes − enzymes play important role especially during the breakdown of molecules. Enzymes are also required for the digestion and growth of the cell.
➖Structural Proteins − such type of proteins provide strength to cells, tissues, and organs.
➖Signaling Proteins − Such proteins facilitate cells to communicate with each other by providing signals.
➖Defensive Proteins − Such proteins help organisms to fight with infection and support damaged tissue in healing fast.
➖Hormone − Some hormones are proteins that help in metabolic activities.

भारतीय परंपरागत चिकित्सा पद्धति के तहत शोध, चिकित्सा शिक्षा से संबंधित पांच पोर्टल जारी कर आयुष मंत्रालय ने सोमवार को एक ऐतिहासिक मुकाम हासिल किया. एक ऑनलाइन कार्यक्रम में आयुष मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) किरेन रिजिजू ने पांच पोर्टलों का लोकार्पण किया और सीसीआरएएस के चार प्रकाशनों का विमोचन किया.

इनमें सीटीआरआई में आयुर्वेद डेटासेट, अमर यानी आयुष मैन्यूस्क्रिप्ट्स एडवांस्ड रिपॉजि़टरी, साही यानी शोकेस ऑफ आयुर्वेद हिस्टोरिकल इम्प्रिंट्स, आरएमआईएस यानी रिसर्च मैनेजमेंट इन्फार्मेशन सिस्टम और ई्-मेधा पोर्टल हैं. इनके जारी होने से अब आयुर्वेद की प्राचीन पांडुलिपियों, ग्रंथों तक पहुंच और उनका डिजीटल माध्यम में रखरखाव, आयुर्वेद में शोध आदि को महत्वपूर्ण बढ़ावा मिल सकेगा.

Patrode, a traditional colocasia leaf roll delicacy of India, has been chosen as a traditional food recipe by the Ministry of Ayush.

The Ministry of Ayush, under the Government of India, has released a booklet on “Traditional Food Recipes” from the AYUSH System of Medicine for an Ayushman Bharat. The booklet has been designed to create awareness in the community about the tradition-based AYUSH food recipes, which not only help in recovery from the disease but also help in the prevention of many disease conditions. PM Narendra Modi while releasing the commemorative postal stamps and distribution of Yoga Awards, had also advocated encouraging traditional food recipes to make it a part of the food habits of people.

आयुष मंत्रालय ने आज एक अध्ययन में किए गए उन दावों का खंडन किया जिसमें गिलोय से लीवर खराब होने का दावा किया गया है। इस नए दावे में आमतौर पर गिलोय या गुडुची के रूप में7 जानी जाने वाली जड़ी बूटी टिनोस्पोरा कॉर्डिफोलिया (टीसी) के इस्तेमाल से मुंबई में छह मरीजों के लीवर खराब होने का दावा किया गया है। हाल ही में एक रिपोर्ट आई थी जिसमें कहा गया था कि मुंबई में पिछले7 साल सितंबर से दिसंबर के बीच गिलोय के सेवन से होने वाले लिवर खराब होने के करीब छह मामले देखे गए थे। अब आयुष मंत्रालय ने इस पर कहा है कि गिलोय को लिवर डैमेज से जोड़ना पूरी तरह से भ्रम पैदा करने वाली बात है।

आयुष मंत्रालय ने एक प्रेस रिलीज जारी करते हुए कहा कि गिलोय जैसी जड़ी-बूटी पर इस तरह की जहरीली प्रकृति का लेबल लगाने से पहले, लेखकों को मानक दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करते हुए पौधों की सही पहचान करने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए थी, जो उन्होंने नहीं की।

भारत बायोटेक की कोवैक्सिन कोरोना वायरस के अल्फा और डेल्टा पर भी असरदार है. अमेरिका के टॉप हेल्थ रिसर्च संस्थान नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ हेल्थ (NIH) की स्टडी में यह सामने आया है. NIH ने कोवैक्सिन ले चुके लोगों के ब्लड सीरम पर दो स्टडी की थीं. जिनमें पता चला है कि यह वैक्सीन अल्फा और डेल्टा वैरिएंट को खत्म करने वाली एंडीबॉडीज बनाने में सक्षम है.

 एक दुर्लभ पुस्तक है। जाने-माने रसायनशास्त्री प्रफुल्ल चंद्र रे ने इसे लिखा था। पीसी रे ने चरक और सुश्रुत के कार्यों पर भी गहन शोध किया। उन्होंने अपनी पुस्तक में ये भी सिध्द किया कि अरब में मौजूद कई वैज्ञानिक शोधों के लिए कैसे दुनिया भारत की ऋणि है। 

पीसी रे अपने कार्य में ये भी स्थापित करने में सफल हुए थे कि आधुनिक विज्ञान के विकास में भारत में हुई महत्वपूर्ण खोजों को या तो नजरअंदाज किया गया या समय, काल, परिस्थिति की वजह से उस ज्ञान के अन्य जगहों पर पहुंचने की वजह से उसे वहां का मान लिया गया। 

दुर्भाग्यवश भारत में गणित, खगोल, रसायन आदि कई विषयों पर हुए ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों को आने वाली पीढ़ियां आगे नहीं बढ़ा पाई। इसकी बड़ी वजह ये रही कि ज्यादातर स्कॉलर्स पाश्चात्य पध्दति के शोधों को ही पढ़ते हैं।
