World Youth Festival: Let's start the future together!
🇷🇺 The Russian House in Dhaka invites our Bangladeshi friends to participate in the World Youth Festival, which will take place in Sochi from March 1 to March 7, 2024!
The World Youth Festival invites you to take part in the largest international youth event to be held in Russia.
From 1 to 7 March 2024, 20,000 Russian and foreign young leaders aged 18 to 35 - professionals in business, media, education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, sport and other spheres of social life - will gather on the Sirius Federal Territory (Sochi Olympic Park, Russia). For the first time, teenagers aged 14-17 can take part - 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad.
At the Festival, you will be able to:
- get acquainted with young and active people from different countries;
- gain experience from experts in politics, culture, sports, education and many other fields;
- find like-minded people and feel part of the most progressive youth community capable of changing the world for the better.
Registration for Russian participants is open until 4 November and for foreign participants until 1 December 2023.

The steady development of Russian-Bangladeshi relations is the result of historical legacy and convergent approaches towards many burning issues in the current volatile geopolitical scenario.
With the government efforts to promote deshi garments overseas, the target to grab a 10% share of the global apparel market by 2025 sounds rather realistic.
The key items of the Russian export to Bangladesh are machinery, equipment, vehicles, metals and agricultural products (wheat, fertilizers, legumes, mustard, etc.), while your country provides our market primarily with textile products that, for sure, needs to be diversified. Both sides have huge untapped potentiality of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in this regard.
Russian businessmen are reorienting towards new suppliers, including those from Bangladesh. Investments, both state and private, can amount to billions of dollars.
