Crypto is trying to stabilize after a difficult regulatory and macro week.
This morning:

So far, major alts are bouncing harder than Bitcoin.

But today’s story is bigger than price.

🇺🇸 SEC MOVES AFTER CLARITY SETBACK

After the CLARITY Act failed to advance in the Senate, the SEC has now approved a temporary Innovation Exemption for certain tokenized U.S. stocks.

The exemption allows limited onchain trading of tokenized NMS stocks through approved tokenized securities venues, subject to conditions around transparency, investor rights and market safeguards.

This matters because it shows something important:

Congress may be stalled, but U.S. regulators are still moving forward with blockchain-based market infrastructure.

That is not the same thing as passing comprehensive crypto legislation.
But it is a meaningful signal for:

• tokenization
• onchain finance
• crypto market infrastructure
• regulated blockchain adoption
🇯🇵 BOJ ALSO TIGHTENS

The Bank of Japan raised its policy rate by 25 bps to 1.25%, the highest level in 31 years.

That matters because higher Japanese rates can reduce the attractiveness of cheap-yen funding and potentially pressure global liquidity.

₿ BTC LEVELS I’M WATCHING

BTC has held the $76K area and is now trying to push higher.

For me:

⚔️ $77K–$78K → first recovery zone
🎯 $80K+ → stronger confirmation
A bounce is good.
A reclaim is better.

Bitcoin is entering Sunday around the $81K area after reclaiming an important psychological level.

But underneath BTC, the market is much more mixed.

🔥 MAJOR COINS — CURRENT SNAPSHOT

🔷ETH: ~$2,620
🪙 BNB: ~$762
💵 XRP: ~$1.40
🪙 SOL: ~$110

Bitcoin is holding relatively firm, while Solana is showing more weakness than BTC and ETH today. Recent market data also shows AVAX standing out strongly among larger altcoins.

₿ THE $80K QUESTION

BTC finally reclaimed the $80K region after last week’s regulatory and macro volatility.

Now I care about one thing:

Can $80K become support instead of just another temporary breakout?

For me:

🛡 $80K–$81K → immediate structure
⚔️ $82K → next battle
📉 Losing $80K again → weekend breakout becomes much less convincing

A breakout matters.

A successful retest matters more.

🇺🇸 REGULATION DIDN’T STOP WITH CLARITY

The CLARITY Act failed to advance in the Senate earlier this week, but U.S. crypto regulation did not stop there.

The SEC has now created a five-year temporary exemption allowing certain regulated platforms to experiment with onchain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks under specific safeguards.

Tokenized shares under the framework must preserve shareholder rights, and synthetic products that merely track stock prices are excluded.

That tells us something important:

Congress is stalled.
Onchain finance is not.

🌍GLOBAL LIQUIDITY STILL MATTERS

The macro environment remains difficult.

The Fed recently raised rates to 3.75%–4.00%, and several major central banks have also moved toward tighter policy as inflation and energy prices remain elevated.

China, meanwhile, kept its benchmark lending rates unchanged today:

🇨🇳 1-Year LPR: 3.00%
🇨🇳 5-Year LPR: 3.50%

That was expected, but it reinforces the idea that large-scale global monetary easing is not arriving immediately.

This weekend I’m watching three things:

1️⃣ Does BTC hold $80K?

If yes, the recovery starts looking more credible.

2️⃣ Can altcoins catch up without BTC losing structure?

BTC strength alone is good.

Broad participation is better.

CLARITY failed.

But tokenization and regulatory experimentation are still moving forward.
