To uplift the Built Environment (BE) industry, the Taskforce for Architectural and Engineering Consultants recently set out 11 key recommendations for the sector.

The ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ, organised by STAS, brought together over 500 industry professionals to exchange insights and strengthen collaboration within the Prefab MEP community. Graced by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi, 25 firms were recognised for achieving accreditation under the Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme (MAS). Of these, five firms successfully achieved the higher Tier 2 accreditation, by adopting Robotics and Automation (R&A) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) within their manufacturing facilities.
Their commitment to transformation is not only improving productivity but also enhancing supply efficiency to meet the rising demand for prefab MEP locally and regionally. STAS also introduced the Market Expansion Award, to recognise Singapore-based companies that have successfully brought their Prefab MEP capabilities to overseas markets.
