This is a good analysis but it neglects the reasons that Ukraine has mostly played along with what the United States wants, though it is meaning the loss of hundreds of thousands of their young male population, and not only. Is there a Khazaria factor? Israelis seem mostly unaware of this, or in some cases aware but deceitful. Zelensky has made occasional comments that suggest the existence of a Khazaria factor: after all Israel is a small country with limited resources. Ukraine is a big country with considerable resources. The territory of Ukraine has a Jewish past in the form of Khazaria. Why not a Jewish present, not just a Jewish president? And a Jewish future? Is this a factor that Paul Craig Roberts should be factoring in but is neglecting to? From unawareness? Is Putin's attitude that it doesn't matter, as long as international law is respected and Russia's integrity is respected at least to the extent that there are no further losses? If so he will still probably have to acknowledge the validity of Paul Craig Roberts' analysis, even if it does not examine all relevant factors.

Romania admits censoring election on ideological grounds

The Supreme Court banned Diana Sosoacă earlier this week from running in the presidential elections, but has only now admitted it did so for her "pro-Russian, anti-European and anti-NATO views."

Sosoacă has called for peace talks on the Ukrainian conflict and criticized European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for "killing people in Ukraine with her policies."
