Forgive” and “Forget” are the two important things all of us should practice in our day to day lives. Without practicing those two things, life will be miserable. Lord Buddha said: "Hatred is not conquered by hatred at any time, but hatred is won by love; this is an eternal truth" Jesus Christ said: “Love thy enemy” Both of them taught almost the same, since they know hatred thoughts can only destroy ourselves. ********************************************************** We are ' forgiving' and 'forgetting' strictly for our own mental peace as well as for our own spiritual growth. That is the reason why Jesus taught us to "love our enemies." * That does not mean we should back off from punishing the guilty party. If we do not make the guilty party pay for his or her actions, we are actually helping the criminal. * We can mentally forgive a man who raped our beloved daughter. * At the same time, we should aid the police for catching and convicting the guilty party so that he will not repeat the heinous act with someone else. * If we do not DO that, we will be as much guilty as the man who committed that crime.
the west, “I am God” statement is misunderstood as a person gloating himself or herself saying “I am God.” The truth of the matter is a person is only recognizing the fact, “ I am not the perishable body. I am the immortal soul within the body called “Atman” which is a mirror image of God or indeed God.” NOBODY BOASTS AND SAY “I AM GOD.” To do that is nonsense. You are not a body with a soul. You are soul which temporarily occupying a human body. Aham Brahmasmi….."I am Brahman or God " (Aham Brahman Asmi) is one of the Mahavakyas used to explain the immortality of the soul in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad. The term comes from the Sanskrit, aham, meaning “I”; brahma, meaning “divine,” “sacred” and also the name of the Hindu creator god; and asmi, which translates as “I am.” Tat tvam asi, ( “thou art that”) in Hinduism, the famous expression of the relationship between the individual and the Absolute which is mentioned the Chandogya Upanishad There is no statement that soul is immortal soul” in the 66 books of the Holy Bible.

Unlike in other religions, in Hinduism, God does not punish anybody. We punish ourselves as well as reward ourselves. Other religions talk about the wrath of God and about the wrath of God as well as about a God who is always angry. In Hinduism, God does not influence or dictate the free will of the human being. The wrath of God is mentioned in many verses in the Holy Bible. We have absolute freedom to whatever we want to do. We reap what we sow. When our actions are good, we reap good results. When our actions are bad, we reap bad results. Lord Krishna said: “God does not decide what each person should do, nor he induce people to act, nor does he create fruits of any action. Each person acts according to his/her Vasanas (Past and present perceptions of mind).” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 5:14) Lord Krishna said: “God is not responsible for anyone’s sinful (Papa) activities or pious (Punya) activities. People are mistaken about this Since their knowledge is covered by ignorance.” ( Bhagavad Gita Chapter 5:15 )

Lord Krishna said:
“Arjuna, you only have the right to act (Karma); At the same time, you do not have the right for the fruits of actions. You should not act, motivated by the fruits of actions and also never be inactive any time.”
(Bhagavad Gita 2:47)
From the outset, the most oft-repeated advice of Lord Krishna to Arjuna is “Nishkama karma,” doing action without expecting any reward:
Most of our decisions are based on “I” and “mine” and we get affected because we wonder about their outcomes and consequences. “Ego” or “Aham Bhava” is the biggest stumbling block in our life.
Whenever we engage in selfless thoughts and actions that contribute to the welfare of others, we will enter higher states of mind and we will be surprised to see even total strangers helping us in our projects.
Life will become saddening, depressing, etc. because of our attachment to outcome. When we free our self from the outcome and focus instead on the selfless actions, we will be very happy.
That is the reason why Jesus Christ also said: “Don’t Let Your Left Hand Know What Your Right Hand Is Doing….”

Lord Krishna said to a very baffled and shocked Arjuna, who was totally shaken by the unbelievable size of the Viswaroopa :
“Nimitha Mathrum Bhava Savyasachin”
“Arjuna, become an instrument of God”
(Bhagavad Gita 11:33)
By becoming an instrument of God, we can eradicate our ego very easily and also we can eliminate our karmic debt.
What Lord Krishna has said to Arjuna is applicable to everyone and even to those who have nothing to do with Hinduism.
Only by surrendering OUR EGO, we can dealt with problems in life.
During the last chapter of the Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna again said:
" Arjuna, abandon all Dharma (duties) and just surrender unto me (the will of God). I shall personally deliver you from all bonds of Karma. Do not fear."
( BG18:66)

AMAZING FACTS: When rest of the religions talk about thousands of years, Hinduism alone talks about trillions of years of history.
Lord Krishna said: “In the beginning of time or Kalpa ( 4,320,000,000 years) , I create everything and at the end of time Kalpa ( 4,320,000,000 years), the whole creation merges in me. By my will the whole universe is created & annihilated again and again ”
(Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9:7 )
Four Yugas are
Krita or Satya Yuga lasting 1,728,000 years (4 x Kali Yuga )
Treta Yuga lasting 1,296,000 years (3x Kali Yuga)
Dvapara Yuga lasting 864,000 years (2X Kali Yuga)
Kali Yuga lasts 432,000 years
One Maha Yuga Four Yugas 4,320,000 years
One Kalpa 1000 Maha Yugas 4,320,000,000 years.
One day of Brahma One Kalpa 4,320,000,000 years.
One night of Brahma One Kalpa 4,320,000,000 years.
One whole day of Brahma Two Kalpas 8,640,000,000 years
Life of Brahma – the god of creation lives for 311.04 trillion human years.

When we say “surrendering to God,” some may feel we should act either irrational or STOP ACTING ALTOGETHER.
That is not true.
Surrender is the quantum leap from mind to mindlessness, from ego to a state of no ego.
To surrender ourselves to God means to allow God to work through us, or to do things according to our inner voice.
Surrendering to God means to become an instrument of God.
(Bhagavad Gita 6:30 )
