O parrot ! Your special ability to speak the language of humans is in fact a big defect and not your virtue but just gives an impression of a virtue. As a result of this instead of roaming freely in forests you are doomed to live under the protection of a cage until your death.
*(In life there are at times such situations wherein a virtue puts a person in a very tricky and disadvantageous situation. This fact has been indirectly highlighted by the above Subhashita).*🙏

O my friend Chatak bird ! listen carefully what I say to you. Many types of clouds roam in the sky but their characteristics are different. Only a few among them drench the Earth with the precious water they carry, whereas the remaining ones roam here and there and simply make rumbling sound. Therefore, you should not beg for water from every cloud you see on the sky.
*(In Sanskrit literature there is a style of writing called 'Anyokti' , which in English; language is called allegory i.e. description of one thing under image of another. The above shloka is a fine example of this genre. There is a folk lore that the Chatak bird quenches its thirst only from the rain falling on earth during a particular lunar position in the sky. Here the bird has been alluded for a person seeking assistance and the persons who can help him has been alluded for the clouds. Only very few people are of helping nature and the rest simply give assurances and never give any help.)*🙏

What happens when we pray?
That is an excellent question.
Let me explain to you stage by stage what happens to someone who prays to God.
What I am writing is applicable to everyone, irrespective of one is a Hindu or not.
First Stage------- All prayers start praying to a personal God with name and form. Everyone starts praying to a very personal God.
Second Stage -----As the devotee mature spiritually, that personal God will transform to light in the mind of the devotee.
Third Stage ------As the devotee mature much more spiritual, that personal God will transform to nothing or void in his or her mind.
Fourth Stage ---------Finally the devotee will realize he or she is one with God.
Devotee will realize he or she is indeed God.
That time the devotee will say Aham Brahmasmi (I am God.)
All mystics including Jesus Christ have said "I am God.
At the end, everyone will realize “Aham Brahmasmi” meaning “I am God.”
This transformation will happen in the lives of everyone irrespective of whether one is a Hindu or not.

It is proper for the King not to oppress the citizens by imposing excessive tax on them driven by his greed, He should also not invite trouble for himself, by not imposing any tax, because by doing so he not only destroys the very foundation of his kingdom but also causes harm to the citizens.

Nobody goes to HELL forever in Hinduism.
Everybody including the atheists will finally attain salvation (Moksha).
Nobody is denied salvation.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
As far as Lord Krishna is concerned, heaven and hell are temporary abodes where the immortal soul resides for a very short period and comes back to earth again to take another body in order to exhaust all karmic debt and attain salvation.
Only Christians and Muslims talk about heaven and hell ...
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Arjuna asks:
"Oh! Krishna, A man of faith who could not control his mind, who deviated from spiritual path and failed to attain self-realization, and died.
What will happen to him?"
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Lord Krishna said:
“A man of faith who could not control his mind, who deviated from spiritual path and failed to attain self-realization, and died, will never perish.
He will reborn into a family of pure, pious people after living many years in heaven and continue his spiritual quest, where he left off in his last life.”

Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the Atom Bomb shocked the world, when he quoted a couplet from Gita (Chapter 11:32)
after witnessing the first Atomic Explosion on the Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range in the state of New Mexico on July 16, 1945.
May be it is a strange coincidence the code name of the nuclear test was “Trinity”. The code name “Trinity” was assigned by Oppenheimer.
Does that anything to do with Lord Vishnu and Hindu Trinity we will never know.
Lord Krishna said:
“I am death, the mighty destroyer of the worlds. I have come to destroy these people who are assembled to fight with you. Even without you taking part, all the soldiers of the opposing army of Kauravas will be slain.”
(11.32)
Sanjaya said to the blind king Dartharashtra:
“If hundreds of thousands of suns were to rise at once into the sky, their radiance might resemble the splendor and radiance of the mighty Lord in that universal form.”

What are Ashrama and Ashrama Dharmas? According to Hindu scriptures, human life is believed to comprise four stages based on physical and mental development.
Brahmacharya 8 to 20 Student life no sex acquiring knowledge in scriptures and other academic learning.
Grahasthya 20 to 50 Married life…taking care of wife and children…A person is supposed to take care of all his desires such as Artha [ money] and Kama [ sexual desires] during this stage.
Vanaprastha 50 to 65 After the completion of one's householder duties, one gradually withdraws from the world, freely shares wisdom with others, and prepares for the complete renunciation of the final stage.
Sanyasa 65 to death One completely withdraws from the world and starts dedicating to spiritual pursuits, seeking SELF REALIZATION (freedom from the cycle of rebirth)
Every human being is forced to go through these four stages in life called "Ashramas" for smooth functioning of life.

Lord Krishna said: "Arjuna, become a Yogi!"......Just like, Prime Minister Modi telling the whole world to practice Yoga,
A Yogi lives like a Lotus leaf. Rain drops falls on a Lotus leaf, but Lotus Leaf is not affected by the rain drops;
Similarly A Yogi lives in the world, but the Yogi is unaffected by the world.
That is the reason why Lord Krishna said: "Arjuna, become a Yogi!"
Lord Krishna said:
“ Just as the ocean is unaffected by the waters of innumerable rivers flowing into it; A yogi is unaffected by the sensual pleasures due to the positive and negative reactions to actions he or she does…”
( Bhagavad Gita 2:70 )
Lord Krishna said:
"A yogi is superior than an ascetic, greater than a Jnani (person who follows Jnana Yoga) and superior than a person who is ritualistic. Therefore, O Arjuna, in all circumstances tries to become a yogi.”
( Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6:46)
Like in the lives of everybody else, things come and go in a Yogi’s life.
But yogi does not exhibit any emotion when things are great or when things are bad.
Many have no idea that they do not have to a Hindu to become a Yogi......

Lord Krishna said: “Arjuna, birth and death are part and parcel of life. If one is born, one has to die one day. Nobody can escape from the claws of death. Therefore you should not lament over the inevitable ” (BG 2:27)
We do not die. Meaning death is not the final end.
Death is a new beginning.
Death is never considered as the end of journey.
It is only the end of the perishable body.
After that the immortal soul (Atman) takes another body and this cycles of birth and death continues until the person attains Self Realization.
Lord Krishna said:
“Just as a person puts on new garments after giving up old ones, similarly, the soul (Atman) secures new bodies after giving up old bodies.”
