Those whose wisdom has been carried awayby various desires, being prompted by their own nature, worship other deities, adopting normsrelating to each. (7:20)

Arjuna’s problem was his ego...........Our problem is also ego

Lord Krishna advised Arjuna about every aspect of life.
STILL his EGO made Arjuna not to fully surrender Lord Krishna.
Lord Krishna showed Arjuna VISWAROOPA (Cosmic form) .
STILL his EGO took the upper hand.
Arjuna never surrendered himself to Lord Krishna and he always thought he was doing everything.
In fact at the end of Mahabharata, Rishi Veda Vyasa has to teach a very disheartened Arjuna, the whole of Bhagavad Gita again.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT WAY TO WORSHIP GOD? Arjuna very specifically asked Lord Krishna whether one should worship God as a person or worship God as impersonal. (12:1)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Lord Krishna said that U can worship GOD WITH FORM as well as GOD WITHOUT FORM.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Lord Krishna answered:
“Those who worship me with great faith, I consider them to be perfect. However, those worship the impersonal, formless, imperishable Brahman with proper control of senses also will finally attain me.”
(Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12:2,3,4)
Lord Krishna answered:
“Remember those whose minds are attached to the impersonal, formless, imperishable Brahman will find very difficult to progress in their path since they are born with body and mind.”
(Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12:5)

Lord Krishna gave utmost importance to mind and thoughts throughout the Bhagavad Gita, especially in the 6th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
• Lord Krishna said: " Those who have control over the mind, mind is a “friend”; but for those who have no control over the mind, the mind acts like an “enemy.
• (Bhagavad Gita 6:6)
Lord Krishna said:
" One who can control the mind and attain tranquility, to that man “heat” and “cold” , “pleasure” and “pain”, “honor” and “dishonor” are the same."
( Bhagavad Gita 6:7 )
Lord Krishna said:
Whenever the mind goes unsteady and wanders, one must withdraw it back and keep it under the control of the self.”
(Bhagavad Gita 6:26)

Whatever celestial form a devotee (craving forsome worldly object) chooses to worship with
reverence, I stabilize the faith of that particular devotee in that very form. (7:21)

When rest of the religions talk about thousands of years of history Hinduism alone talks about trillions of years of history.
Lord Krishna said: “In the beginning of time or Kalpa ( 4,320,000,000 years) , I create everything and at the end of time Kalpa ( 4,320,000,000 years), the whole creation merges in me. By my will the whole universe is created & annihilated again and again ”
(Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9:7 )

Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, reason and also ego; these constitute My nature divided into
eight parts. This indeed is My lower (material) nature; the other than this, by which the whole universe is sustained, know it to be My higher (or spiritual) nature in the form of Jiva (the life principle), O Arjuna. (7:4-5)

Namaste concept originated from the firm belief the soul is immortal and is indeed God.
What is Namaste?........
It is the popular Hindu greeting performed by pressing two hands together and holding them near the heart. The whole act communicates to the world

“You and I are one. I salute and worship the God within you which is indeed a mirror image of myself.”
Namaste concept originated from the Hindu belief that the real I within all of us is the immortal soul or ATMAN which is indeed God and our problem is our EGO, the FALSE BELIEF that we are the perishable material body.

Namaste is derived from the Sanskrit language and is a combination of two words, "Namaḥ" and "te". Namaḥ means 'bow', 'obeisance', 'reverential salutation' or 'adoration’, and te means 'to you.'..

Lord Krishna is asking us to live in moderation and to live a balanced life. Extreme austerities or fasting to death or subjecting the body and mind to excruciating pains in the name of spiritual growth have nothing to do with Hinduism.

Lord Krishna said:
“Oh! Arjuna, Yoga is not possible, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; Yoga is not possible, who sleeps too much, or who keeps always awake.”
(Bhagavad Gita 6:16)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You do not have to starve to become spiritual.
You do not have to adopt severe austerities in life to become spiritual.
You do not have to deny sex to your spouse to become spiritual.
You do not have to wear Kavi or saffron robes to become spiritual.
You do not have to do anything extra ordinary to become spiritual.
Just live a very natural balanced life.

Rishis were the scientists of the ancient age. They were not preachers and they allowed even atheists to debate them.
* They discussed and debated like scientists about every aspect of life.
* They even discussed about human sexuality.
* They explored the universe.
* They even allowed atheistic philosophies to prevail in Hinduism.
* They never beat up or killed people who put down Vedas.
*****************************************************
Rishis only cared for only for truth and nothing else.
They did not have any other agenda what so ever.
Rig Veda 1:89:1 states“ Aano bhadra krtavo yantu vishwatah” meaning
"Let noble thoughts come to all from every direction.”
Rishis (ancient Hindu seers) did not write, “Let noble thoughts come to us all from India.”
The Rishis ask us to search for truth all over the universe..

Jesus Christ said: "Except man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God" ( St John 3:3) Jesus Christ also said: "Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again". (St. John 3-7).

Born again concept came from the Hindu word “Dwija” (twice born).
_____________________________________________
What do you mean by Dwija or twice born?
_____________________________________________
"twice-born" means the first birth is physical, while the second birth is a 'spiritual' one.
Without complete change of consciousness, it is impossible to attain salvation or self-realization.
