🔺As the Turkish news outlets clarify, the ASIC miners were in one of the warehouses in the Turkish province of Izmir. The cost of the equipment is about $ 600,000 or 5 million liras, the journalists found out.
The miners were secretly brought into the country. Turkish law enforcement agencies are conducting similar raids in several major cities, including Istanbul.

Подобные расценки может обеспечить только Иран, где майнинг официально регулируется законодательством, гарантирующему свободный обмен Bitcoin, добытых на территории страны.
По сведениям Elliptic, этот шаг позволил иранским властям получить до миллиарда долларов дополнительных бюджетных доходов. Сейчас на страну приходится до 4,5% добычи Bitcoin, но энергетический потенциал электростанций, позволяет нарастить эту долю минимум в пять раз.
