π£ NFT Sale Status Update π£

Well, this has been an exciting day for all of us. Even though we are happy with the achievement of this massive milestone, we would like to provide you with a quick overview of some of the problems there were today.
To begin, there were a handful of individuals that received an email that they were whitelisted, but could neither purchase any of the NFTs, nor find their address in the list.
We were able to help some of these individuals, but we have found that most of these members did not enter a BSC address, or they had forgotten which address they used. Next time, we will be sure to add the whitelisted address to the email.
Additionally, BSC congestion was still problematic.
This resulted in quite some failed transactions, higher gas fees, and an overall buggy feel to the NFT purchasing process. Also note that transactions made with an address that was not whitelisted, would ultimately fail.
Furthermore, the lack of synchronisation between the front and back end, allowed 1 extra replica per NFT character to be created. This became clear, when the total supply of NFTs increased on the website. We would like to uphold the supply that we initially presented on the website, thus we made sure to purchase 1 of each NFT and burn it ourselves. The total supply of NFTs visible on the website, will be updated very soon, and will remain unaffected.
All of this was difficult to oversee, but we will be taking a variety of technical measures to prevent this problem from happening in the future.
Even though the road was rocky, we are still very proud that many of you are now owners of our Bit Hotel Playable NFTs!
