Due to recent developments in the crypto market we would like to take it upon ourselves to assure our users that Blocktrade holds itself to the highest standards of scrutiny and regulation and we would like to be upfront and fully transparent about the various ways in which we protect our users’ funds.
1. All user funds are explicitly separated (fiat and crypto) from Blocktrade's corporate funds. We use separate bank accounts to ensure user fiat funds are 100% segregated from company-owned fiat funds. These funds are never mixed. Likewise, with crypto assets, we have distinct treasury wallets to manage custody of company-owned funds, and these are completely separated custody wallets to our users' wallets. Once again, these are never mixed.
2. We do not use any user funds (fiat nor crypto) for any corporate purposes and also we do not use any user funds to improve our solvency or to receive lending.
3. Our holdings are currently being audited by four different auditors in Luxembourg and Estonia.
4. We have implemented several levels of security for the custody of our users’ funds, and these are stored in various secure multi-signature wallets with only minor funds on hot wallets for liquidity purposes.
