🔍 What is MEV?
Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) is a complex but inherent aspect of all PoS blockchains like BNB Chain (BSC) and Ethereum. While it presents challenges like arbitrage and sandwich attacks, it also plays a vital role in incentivizing participation and securing the network.
🔧 Our Solution:
BNB Chain is enhancing its MEV landscape through the Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) model. This model separates block proposers (Validators) from block builders, allowing builders to create blocks and propose them to validators, who then select the most profitable one.
📈 Current Progress:
- Over 60% of transactions are included on-chain through builders.
- We aim to increase this percentage to over 90% to further protect users.
🔒 Why Use a Private MEV-protected RPC?
Using a private MEV-protected RPC ensures your transactions are sent to the builder's private mempool, mitigating the risk of being sandwiched by attackers.
🔗 How to Find a Private MEV Protected RPC:
- Many DEX protocols or wallet providers, like PancakeSwap, offer free MEV protection features.
- Premium private MEV-protected RPCs are available from service providers like BloxRoute, Blocksmith, Nodereal, Blockrazor, and Puissant.
