There are five discontinuities/ Transition Zones inside the earth:

Conrad Discontinuity: Transition zone between upper and lower Crust.

Mohorovicic Discontinuity: Transition zone between the Crust and Mantle.

Repiti Discontinuity: Transition zone between Outer mantle and Inner mantle.

Gutenberg Discontinuity: Transition zone between Mantle and Core.

Lehman Discontinuity: Transition zone between Outer core and Inner core.

Khudiram Bose (1889-1908) was an Indian revolutionary and freedom fighter who played a significant role in the Indian independence movement against British rule. Here are some key points about Khudiram Bose:

- Early life: Born in Midnapore, Bengal (now West Bengal), Bose was inspired by the revolutionary ideas of Sri Aurobindo and other nationalist leaders.

- Revolutionary activities: Bose joined the Jugantar party and participated in several revolutionary activities, including planting bombs and disrupting British communications.

- Muzaffarpur Conspiracy Case: Bose, along with Prafulla Chaki, attempted to assassinate Magistrate Kingsford by throwing a bomb at his carriage. However, they mistakenly targeted the wrong vehicle, killing two British women instead.

- Arrest and trial: Bose was arrested, tried, and sentenced to death at the age of 18.

- Execution: He was hanged on August 11, 1908, in Muzaffarpur Jail, becoming one of the youngest revolutionaries to be executed by the British.

- Legacy: Khudiram Bose is remembered as a martyr and a hero in India's struggle for independence. His courage and sacrifice continue to inspire Indians to this day.
