70th BPSC Mains Update

✴️ बिहार में साइमन कमीशन

🔹साइमन कमीशन 12 दिसंबर 1928 को पटना पहुंचा।

🔹इस सर्व-श्वेत आयोग के आगमन के विरोध में पटना रेलवे स्टेशन पर डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद, ब्रज किशोर प्रसाद और राम दयालु सिंह के नेतृत्व में 30,000 से अधिक लोग उपस्थित थे।

🔹27वां बिहार प्रांतीय कांग्रेस सम्मेलन इसी दौरान पटना में आयोजित हुआ।

🔹कांग्रेस कमेटी की एक और बैठक मुंगेर में आयोजित हुई जिसकी अध्यक्षता तजेश्वर प्रसाद ने की। बैठक में श्रीकृष्ण सिन्हा ने सुझाव दिया कि साइमन कमीशन को कम से कम 50 हजार "काले झंडे" दिखाना चाहिए।

🔹साइमन कमीशन के बहिष्कार के लिए अनुग्रह नारायण सिन्हा के नेतृत्व में एक सर्वदलीय बैठक का भी आयोजन किया गया।

🔹साइमन कमीशन के विरोध प्रदर्शन में छोटानागपुर क्षेत्र के ताना भगत लोग भी शामिल हुए थे।

✴️ Simon Commission in Bihar

🔹The Simon Commission arrived Patna on December 12, 1928. 

🔹Over 30,000 people were present under the leadership of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Braj Kishore Prasad, Ram Dayalu Singh, at Patna Railway station protest against this all-White Commission.

🔹27th Bihar Provincial Congress Conference was held in Patna during the same time.

🔹Another meeting of the Congress Committee was held in Munger which was presided over by Tajeshwar Prasad. In the meeting, Sri Krishna Sinha suggested that at least 50 thousand “black flaggers” should receive the Simon Commission.

🔹For boycotting Simon Commission, an all-party meeting was organized under the leadership of Anugraha Narayan Sinha.

🔹Tana Bhagats from Chhota Nagpur area also joined in the demonstrations against the Simon Commission.

Bihar Daroga 2023 Batch Passing Out Parade
2023 बैच के पुलिस अवर निरीक्षकों का दीक्षांत परेड समारोह दिनांक- 13.12.2025 को बिहार पुलिस अकादमी के पारण परेड मैदान पर सम्पन्न हुआ।

✅इस दीक्षांत परेड समारोह में कुल 1218 प्रशिक्षु पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक शामिल है, जिसमें 779 पुरूष, 436 महिला एवं 03 ट्रांसजेंडर शामिल है। उक्त दीक्षांत परेड में मुख्य अतिथि मुख्यमंत्री, बिहार माननीय श्री नीतीश कुमार ने परेड की सलामी ली एवं मार्च पास्ट का अवलोकन किया।

Scheme: National Framework for Malaria Elimination

Key Facts about the scheme : 1. Eliminate malaria from all 26 States including 15 low (Category 1) and 11 moderate (Category 2) transmission States/Union Territories (UTs) by 2022;
2. Reduce the incidence of malaria to less than 1 case per 1000 population per year in all States and UTs and their districts by 2024;
3. Interrupt indigenous transmission of malaria throughout the entire country, including all 10 high transmission States and Union Territories  (Category 3) by 2027; and
4. Prevent the re-establishment of local transmission of malaria in areas where it has been eliminated and maintain national malaria-free status by 2030 and beyond.
Broad Objective : The aims of the National Framework for Malaria Elimination in India 2016-2030 are:

1. To Eliminate malaria (zero indigenous cases) throughout the entire country by 2030; and

2. Maintain malaria-free status in areas where malaria transmission has been interrupted and prevent re-introduction of malaria.

Scheme: National Transit Oriented Development
Key Facts about the scheme : 1. This policy seeks to enhance the depth of understanding of States and UTs on TOD as a viable solution to many of the challenges like haphazard urban growth and sprawl, mobility, rapidly rising private vehicles on roads,  pollution, housing choices etc..
2. This new urban design and planning in the form of TOD, is being incentivised by the Ministry under two more initiatives viz.,
- Metro Policy and
- Green Urban Mobility Scheme
Broad Objective : - a multi-pronged policy framework to promote living close to mass urban transit corridors
Nodal Ministry and institutions : Ministry of Urban Development
