I keep telling everyone that if you want to clear Regulatory Exams, especially RBI Grade B and NABARD Grade A, you must work on your writing skills. Learn Answer Writing and English Descriptive Writing.
But most of you ignore it until you clear Phase I. After that, you are left with barely 35 days, and honestly, not much could be done in such a short time.
I am writing this message for future aspirants.
Writing is a skill, and like every skill, it takes time to develop. Start Today, Don't wait for your Quant to be Ready or Syllabus to be complete.
If you are a beginner, Begin with summary writing. Read an editorial, an article, and then try to write, in your own words, what you understood, work on correcting grammar and spelling mistakes, organizing whatever written in an order. This simple exercise will improve your comprehension, vocabulary, articulation, and logical flow of ideas. Also work on your typing skill, you need to type it in exam.
Remember, Phase II is not just about knowledge, it is about your ability to express that knowledge effectively within a limited time by typing it Online.

FCNR(B) deposits are specialized, fixed-term foreign currency bank accounts opened in India by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs).
Unlike standard NRI accounts that automatically convert foreign currency into Indian Rupees, FCNR(B) deposits allow overseas Indians to fully retain their savings in global currencies.
Aim:
The aim of the FCNR(B) scheme is to provide Indian banks with a stable, large-scale source of low-cost overseas funding to shore up the country’s capital account.
For depositors, it provides an investment route to earn tax-free returns in India without taking on the risk of local currency depreciation.

How Does the USD-INR Forex Swap Work?
Under this arrangement, banks collect foreign currency through FCNR(B) deposits and enter into a structured swap agreement with the RBI.
First Leg: Spot Transaction: The bank sells the foreign currency collected through FCNR(B) deposits to the RBI at the prevailing market exchange rate.
Second Leg: Forward Transaction: At the end of the swap period, the RBI sells back the exact same amount of foreign currency to the bank at a pre-decided exchange rate.
Eliminating Risk: Because both transactions are carried out at the same exchange rate, banks face no exchange rate risk.
Lowering Cost: The arrangement removes the hedging burden from banks. Since banks do not have to buy expensive market contracts to protect themselves from currency fluctuations, they can offer more attractive interest rates to attract depositors.

What is the Financial Fraud Risk Indicator?
The FRI is a risk detection tool deployed under the Digital Intelligence Platform, aimed at identifying and pre-emptively blocking cybercriminal activity related to UPI payments. By leveraging intelligence inputs and digital surveillance, the system flags suspicious phone numbers involved in UPI fraud and assigns them a risk category—Medium, High, or Very High.
The primary objective of FRI is to integrate telecom data intelligence with the digital payment infrastructure to enable real-time identification of fraudulent entities. Numbers that are reported on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, flagged by the Chakshu platform, or fail multiple regulatory checks will now be categorized and monitored.

India has climbed two places to become the world’s 11th-largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI), according to a UN agency’s latest trade report. Inflows surged nearly 44 per cent to $38.89 billion in 2025, helping the country recover ground lost after it slipped out of the global top 10 two years prior.
India had ranked 13th among global FDI recipients in 2024, with inflows of $27.09 billion.
