Every year, while teaching you, I also learn a lot from you. Your questions, doubts, struggles, failures, and successes have all shaped me in some way as a teacher.

I am grateful for the trust you place in me and for allowing me to be a part of your journey.

I have always felt that teachers are among the wealthiest people because their network is their net worth. The students we teach, the relationships we build, and the people we meet along the way are what make this profession special.

I am thankful to all the teachers who have guided and shaped me, and to every student who has been a part of my journey.

Happy Teacher's Day to all of you.

Thank you all for the warm wishes on Teacher's Day.

This day is unforgettable for me, espe
cially because I receive messages from both my new and old students. Some of you connected with me back in 2022 or 2023 and have now already become officers. Seeing your journey and receiving your messages after all these years is truly special.

As I said before, this connection and bond with students is what makes teachers among the wealthiest people.

Best wishes to everyone. Keep working hard and keep shining.

RBI's USD-INR Swap Facility Sparks Unprecedented Forex Inflows into India.

A total of $136.37 Billion has been mobilised, as per data released by the RBI. This includes $127.22 Billion through FCNR (B) deposits, $52.60 Billion through OFCBS and $38.91 Billion through ECB.

The RBI had introduced a special USD-INR forex swap facility covering these instruments on June 8 this year to deal with forex outflows due to high oil prices and flight of capital owing to exit of Foreign Portfolio Investors (FOIs) from the stock market.
The rupee had come under pressure when these measures were announced. With these inflows, the rupee has recovered partially.

The FCNR(B) deposits scheme which was originally open till September 30, 2026, was advanced to close on August 31, 2026, due to unexpected inflows.

The ECBs and OFCBs schemes will remain open up to December 31, 2026.

What is Digital Rupee?
Digital Rupee or e₹, is India’s Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

It is the digital form of India’s physical currency, the Rupee (₹).

e₹ is issued by the
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in digital form and e₹ is at par with the physical currency, offering features similar to physical cash like convenience of use, guarantee of RBI, finality of settlement, etc.

e₹ is stored in the user’s digital wallet and can be used to receive/ send money, and / or make payment for transactions, just like any physical ₹ note.

RBI Grade B Interview:

When we already have UPI and Other Wallet based Payment Options then why do we need Digital Rupee?

UPI and CBDC are built to solve different problems and they’re meant to complement each other, not compete.

UPI is a digital rail, it moves money between bank accounts. It’s an infrastructure, built by NPCI, that connects banks, wallets, and merchants.

CBDC, on the other hand, is the money itself, a digital form of the rupee issued directly by the Reserve Bank of India. t’s like carrying a ₹500 note, but in your phone’s wallet.

So while UPI helps you transfer money, CBDC is the form of money you can hold, just like cash, but digital.

This part everyone know but most forget to Highlight the most important Keyword:

I. Programability
Imagine the government disbursing a subsidy that can only be spent on specific items say, education or healthcare. CBDC enables this kind of programmability, something that’s not possible with UPI today. Due to this feature multiple use cases are being tested.

II. Cross-Border Transfers
CBDC opens the door to cheaper, faster international remittances by enabling direct central bank-to-central bank settlement reducing intermediaries and costs.
